*soon after they find themselves outside facing the isle which is suddenly seeming to be looming over them in a way it hadn't before, everyone who could get a view was watching fairy godmother steps up to Mal with a spellbook in hand*
FG: here's the spell, good luck Mal
Mal: thank you
*dairy godmother steps back as do the little crowd of guards stood around them*
Ben: are you sure you want to do this?
Mal: Ben I already told you I have to do this
Ben: no you don't!
Mal: I do, that barrier must stay up no matter the cost
Ben: Mal....
Mal: Ben I love you but please don't do this, don't make it hard, it'll be fine, nothing bad will happen, I have the blood of the dragon, I have to use my power for good, starting with this
Ben: please Mal
Mal: I love you
Ben: I love you too
Mal: I promise we're just gonna fix the barrier up nicely and then we'll be curled up together within an hour
Ben: I hope so
*they kiss and then he finally let's go of her hand which he has been clutching onto since they were in the council chambers, she smiles as best she can, trying not to let any nerves she has show but she can't help wondering if she is strong enough, if she has enough control of her powers which she still struggled with to this day and most of all did she have the strength to pull through this? She's just have to hope she did, this was it, time to begin*
Mal: weakened barrier, no longer strong, the isle of the lost contains those who did wrong, your job to confine them to their mortal souls, keeping out magic and keeping good in control, so now take my strength to replenish your own, and maintain them there in their imprisonment of a home
*she closes eyes in almost fear of what she might see happen and takes a deep breath as pulses of energy start shooting from her towards the magic barrier, they continue for about a minute and a half and the barituer visibly strengthens upon every pulse reaching it, as the stop a pulse of light comes shooting from the barrier, all the way out to about a metre from the isle but as the blasts stop Mal falls to he ground limp and lifeless, clearly she wasn't strong enough, she couldn't pull through unscathed as she had hoped*----------------------------------------------
