Ch. 8 Beginnings of a New Normal

Me: HEY EVERYONE! WELCOME BACK TO DOMINO HEIGHTS! Last chapter was short and had a dirty moment but this one WILL be longer since I have more to say and do. So this chapter will have 3 POVs Yugi, Jounouchi and Ryou- why because I can and you'll see college through each of their eyes. They share a few classes so those moments will be my POV- yes I'm breaking a wall =3= so yeah that's the basic info for the chapter~ let me know what you think in the comments please! ON WITH THE STORY!

Yugi POV

I yawn waking up to the annoying beeping of my alarm clock and get out of bed to find Yami still asleep. I smirk as a thought crosses my mind. Tiptoeing to his bed I get in the covers and hug him from behind blowing in his ear. He shoots awake and I fall out of his bed laughing at his flustered expression. I point and hold my stomach, "you should see your face Mou Hitori no Boku! You look hilarious!" I laugh out. Yami glares playfully not amused. I gather myself and stand up, "classes start today! We need to move~ or else I can't fix lunches!" Yami sighs in defeat and gets up stretching his toned body that makes my heart race. We work together to make lunches and breakfast, eat, shower and get dressed then get our things and head out the door. He and I share 3 classes; History (my elective and his major), English and Study Hall. Our first class is History and it'll be great since we'll sit next to each other. I don't want any of the girls in the class to flirt with him. We enter the class and take our seat in the middle closer to the front.

All the students file in and lastly a man with dirty blonde hair that's a soft spiked rough style on his head with crystal blue eyes and cat-like eyes sets his books on the desk. He clears his throat after writing his name on the board. He really reminds me of a cat and he should have ears and a tail- then he'd be perfect for it. He crosses his arms as he speaks, "Welcome to History 121. I'm your professor Shuuhei Ichinosei and you will address me as sir, sensei or professor. Are we clear?" The class nods and he smiles, "now let's start with roll-call." He goes through the class and when everyone is accounted for he closes his leather book. He writes on the board in bold letters, Ancient Egyptian History. Yami and I share a grin as we both adore the subject and the professor calls out a page number, "turn to page 10." Everyone does in a swift movement and then he starts the lesson.

90 minutes of class lecture later

Mister Ichinosei closes his book and the class follows suit, "your homework is to complete the chapter 1 questions 2,4,6,8,10, 11, 12 and 15. These are due by next class period- dismissed." Yami and I put our books up after writing the homework down and we walk to our next class which is English.

We stop at another room that says English 105. We take our seats and so do the rest of the students and the teacher enters next. This one is a woman with dark rectangle glasses over strong hazel eyes, dark red hair in a loose bun with braids, wearing a simple suit of grey-blue and a white shirt with flats. She smiles warmly which gives me the impression that she's nice-boy was I wrong. She clicks her heels and writes her name on the board then slams her book on the desk. "Alright kittens welcome to English 105. I hope you'll do as your told here because I don't play games! I'm sure you've heard the term 'Grammar Nazi' well guess what- you got yourself one as a teacher! I expect proper behavior and manners in this class! If you have a question write it down and ask me AFTER CLASS I will NOT stand for interruptions! Now get out he journal from the syllabus and write your name on the front. This will be your bell ringer. Your first one is this; name 5 commonly confused words and examples of each in a sentence! Begin- you have 15 minutes!" Yami and I both work fast and write our sentences and barely in time for the whistle. She gathers the books and stacks them on her desk to grade. This is gonna be hard...
