Chapter 31

4 months later

"So how was your first day of 8th grade sweetpea?" i smiled up at reece. "It was awesome! they threw me a party, as per usual and gave me all the good luck in the world to win my fight and i in turn promised to bring a copy of the video for them to watch. I am in my last math, english, and science class. I also may get to spend an all expense paid month in france later in the year!" he looked at me surprised "France, wow that would be amazing!" i grinned "I know right!" i squealed out and ran toward the arena. "Come on i have lots of work to do!" he chased after me laughing "for what?" i smirked and turned around as we came up to the building "That my friend is a surprise, now i need you to keep everyone out of this arena for the next 7 hours" he raised an eyebrow but nodded. "Now time for a makeover." I called up a bunch of fighters around my age and got them all gathered in the hallway. "Okay so you all range from 12-14, either you have only been fighting for a short while, or are soon to be fighting. Well i decided that i wanted to turn this place around a little bit, and have tournaments monthly. In order to do that i needed some help with a makeover." I led them into the arena and they saw everything scattered throughout the floor. "Okay so we have a discoball, strobe lights, smoke machines, new speakers and random ass lights to put up. Many walls to paint, doors to decorate, Reg and Scott's room to redo and a whole new seating arrangment to put in. My fight is at ten and people are coming in at 9, So lets get to work!" I saw some kids grab some buckets of paint and look at me "Do them however you please, but make sure one wall is solid black please!" they nodded and went over to a wall and started splatter painting it, i think they got more paint on them then the wall did! "Excuse me miss" the guy looked around at the terror happening around us "Are you Ren Adriance?" i nodded "Yes, why?" "We are hear to deliver the new seating and cage." "Oh! awesome, go ahead and work around these guys, let me know if you have any problems." he nodded and walked off. I saw that someone had started to paint the floor and i shook my head. I walked into the hallway to see some girls starting to work on the fighters doors. I went up to mine and Vipers to see them painting a really intricate viper on the door. "Don't forget to leave room for mine later!" i said and they smiled. I got up to Blackblood and Deathslayer's door to see it fully black with a slash in the middle, "blood" dripping down and their name painted on it. I was impressed with their work. Sharks door had what looked like the inside of a sharks mouth on it and i laughed. Venoms door had a snake head at the top with it's fangs sunk into the door and what seemed to be venom dripping out. I saw the veterans door and was impressed with their work. This was where the retired fighters came and chilled out. Eagle, Axel, Ranger, and Greg's logo's were all on there, plus a whole lot more. The doors were turning out beautifully. I guess it is time to check up on Reg and Scotts room. I tromped up the stairs and opened the door to find it repainted, already, a new sound system, new chairs, a fridge, tv, mini bar, and pool table inside. I walked over to the window and looked out to see that the new seating was almost finished and being installed, all the new electronics were installed, and the painting was going, well as best as it could with young teens. I walked downstairs and saw everybody start to file in as i cranked up the heat and put on a ton of humidifiers. "My apologies but the paint has to dry as quickly as possible in here. I love what you have done with the place, it could not turn out better. I am really glad i had stored away the money to do this! It cost a lot i can tell you that much. So for the final surprise of the night we are actually going to get a new cage. This one has history yes, but i think it's time we move up. This one is going to be donated to a new arena being set up in atlanta!" they all cheered and i smiled. "All right guys bring 'er in!" A few bigger guys brought in the new cage which was red an black like the old one, but nicer, newer, and not as bloody! I smiled at our work as we started to clean up. I checked my watch and saw that it was already 830, "Everyone we have a half an hour to get this place situated now lets get a move on!" Everyone started scrambling to get the place cleaned up and i smiled, i could not have picked a better group of people to help me out with this project. My phone rang and i saw that reece was calling "Okay sweetheart we have a hoard of people wanting to get in, how much longer?" i smirked to myself and looked around as the last of it was being shoved into a closet, i covered the phone with my hand "Alright everyone to my dressing room now!" i ran with them and turned on the tv with the security cams. "Alright reece, release the hounds" I grinned evilly as i saw people making a mad dash to get in. we sat back and laughed as we saw the look on their faces. It was absolutley priceless, i heard a bunch of knocking at my door and opened it to find a bunch of suprised fighters and an out of breath viper and reece. "what's up guys? i asked as i let them in. "What did you do?" i smiled innocently "Do you like it?" i was hopefull that they did when one of them sighed and i smiled. "Yes i like it, i found it quite creative what you did with my door" a couple girls high fived and i grinned. "So are you guys ready to see my fight tonight?" they nodded and they also looked nervous. a lot of people have been anxious to see this fight for awhile now. I was extremly famous within the fighting realm now and it was going to be a bit crazy tonight. I heard the door opened and a hole was created, i saw axel step through and at first my instinct was to get extremly pissed off, but i squealed instead causing everyone to cover their ears. I giggled and jumped into axel's welcome arms.He spun me around and whispered in my ear "Oh how i have missed you angel. I am still so sorry, but guess what, it is your first fight and i am here to be with you and also celebrate your birthday. Oh also nice makeover" i giggled and nuzzled into his neck "Thanks, and i forgive you, i have missed you too. This is going to be an amazing night" i pulled back a little bit from him to kiss his cheek then i turned to everyone "Alright everyone except for viper and shark please disperse, you will see me soon out in the ring. Also thank you guys for who helped me with the makeover, it was a huge success." I gave them high fives as i went out and then i looked at my family. "Hey, i dont get to stay!" i looked at venom and giggled "Sorry, i wasnt thinking about you" he shrugged and patted my back. Then in walked jason and blake, i tensed up at the sight of both of them. Jason spoke up first "I am sorry that i got pissed off when you didnt want to live with me, i should have understood that you wouldnt have wanted me hanging over your head all the time." Blake started to speak when Maxwell burst through the door "DID I MISS IT!" we burst out laughing "Monkey! Oh man your first fight i am so nervous, you will do really well though, but do you have to face off against blackblood, is that really that smart" He started chewing on his fingernails and i giggled, blake came over and took a deep breath. "What i did to you was unacceptable. I have completely resigned from the military and i wont go back again. I will be here for you from now on i promise you that. I am really sorry." I looked at him hatred present in my eyes "You wont get off that easy, please get out of my room." he straightened up "What about axel!" i closed my eyes and sighed. "He told me before he left, he promised to come back, he left me with this" I gestured to all the guys "He still made sure i was taken care of, he called and wrote me. That is the reason i forgave him, but take note that i was pissed when he showed back up without notice after the first 6 months. It took some time before i finally forgave him." Blake nodded and left a letter on my counter before walking out. I checked my watch 9:37, my eyes bugged out. "Shit! i have to get ready" i hopped out of axels arms and quickly got changed. I did my warm up and went by the double doors, man was i nervous. I felt two different hands on each of my shoulders and i relaxed slightly. the gaurds opened the doors and i walked through, the arena was dead silent. "WELCOME REN BLAYZE ADRIANCE" i gulped as the guys let go of me and i walked into the cage. It was finally my day to fight.

NOW BACK TO YOUR NAME" "WELL REG I FOUND THE PERFECT ONE, SPITFIRE! THE SUBMARINE SPITFIRE WAS USED IN WW2 BY THE BRITISH ROYAL AIR FORCE ONE OF THE MOST HIGHLY ACCLAIMED FIGHTER JETS IT PASSES 378 MILES PER HOUR, A SPEED DEMON JUST LIKE OUR LITTLE NEWBIE OF A FIGHTER HERE!!" "AND HERE WE ARE GUYS OUR NEWEST FIGHTER, SPITFIRE! CONGRATULATIONS GIRLY!" I was out of breath and in complete surprise, I had just beat one of the best fighters out there. I smiled then ran out of the cage and into my room, a few people came in after me. Viper picked me up and twirled me around "Baby you won i am so proud of you!" He set me down and i sat down on the couch in shock. I won my first fight, i now have the ability to become an undefeated fighter, something that i have dreamed of ever since i started training.
