The Barbecue

We both grabbed our stuff and went inside. We were quickly greeted by Tank and Captain. Captain was very sick so we had to be careful with him. Joan came to greet us and said to put our stuff in the living room so we did.




After that Joan brought us out back. Toby, Connor, Riley, Thomas, Braidens mum and dad, Thomas' parents, and Toby's dad was out there. A few people I didn't know. I think it was the mcdonoughs family. Toby came running over to me and hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back. I rested my head on his chest as smiled to myself.




"I missed you babe." He whispered to me.




"I missed you more Hun." I whispered back and he rubbed my back. We pulled away after a bit and he held my non-broken hand. He brought me over to the people I didn't know.




"Liz. This is my cousin Julia and her brother Max. Max and Julia this is my girlfriend Liz." He said and I smiled.




"It's nice to finally meet you. Everyone here has been talking about you. Don't worry it was all good stuff. And your more beautiful in person." She said and I smiled wide.




"It's nice to meet you too. I'm happy to meet some of Toby's family." I said and looked at Toby. He wrapped an arm around me and I smiled.




"What happened to your wrist?" Max asked.




"Skateboarding accident." I said and giggled slightly.




"Well. I'm gonna go introduce her to others. See you both later." Toby said to them and we started to walk away.




"They were so nice just like you. And I didn't know that I wouldn't know some people. You should've told me." I said and he laughed. Then he kissed my head. "Toby? Will you sign my cast. I wanted you to be the first. Braiden was begging me to let him but I waited for you to."

I smiled and took the sharpie from her. "Of course my princess." I said and she blushed. I drew a heart and put T+L in it. She smiled and took the marker back.




"Want to meet my aunt and uncle? They are Julia's and Max's parents." I asked her and she nodded her head. We started to walk towards them and she just kept smiling. As we were walking my little cousin Synthia ran over to me.




"Toby!!!" She yelled and hugged my leg. We both stopped and Liz was giggling.




"And how's my favorite little cousin?" I asked picking her up. She smiled and kissed my cheek.




"Good. Is that your girlfriend?" She whispered to me. And I nodded my head. "She's really pretty." She said




"I know." I said and Liz blushed. I put Synthia down and we went to my aunt and uncle.




"Jim. Nancy. It's great to see the both of you." I said and hugged them.
