Chapter 15

Jin's POV~

I looked at the new girl who just walked past me...winking at me? Am I seeing things?
And I'm sure that I'm not, because I can see Zara with gritted teeth and she's fuming--

Wait wait wait, does she like me?

"Is something bothering you?"-I asked while holding back my laugh a bit
"Bothering? Me? Something? Nahhh...I'm perfectly fine"-she said through gritted teeth, forcing a smile.
"THAT something"-I pointed towards SungHee
"Pfft...Why would she ever bother me?"-now she's totally calm
"She JUST did. Her wink~"-I teased her
"Nope. W-why would her wink bother m-me?"-she stuttered
"Your behavior totally explains, Zara"-I said the last part with a soft expression
"Aishh...just leave this topic now, will you? "-she said irritated
"Okay okay. Let's get back to work"-I said picking up my pencil

"So, about the grouping. There would be 10 members in each group and I want everybody to cooperate with their groups. The group which presents it's project the best will be given a week off AND they will also be invited to a party which is recently being held in Japan. Better work hard!"-the teacher announced

End of Jin's POV~

Zara's POV~

WHAT?! A WEEK OFF?! A TRIP TO JAPAN?! AM I SERIOUSLY DREAMING??

There was only one aim in everybody's mind: WE HAVE TO WIN THIS!

"Now the groups..."-the teacher started. Please don't give me a heart attack, please don't give me heart attack...

"The first group is Minji, Sungjae, Minah, Amber, Hansol, Jun, Krystal, Woozi, Hoshi, Jinwoo. You people are in the Red Team"-the teacher called out from the sheet in his hand.

Awww...Sungjae isn't with me...at least I have one last hope, Sara.

"The second group is Sara, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jungkook, Zara, Taehyung..." Please, not Jin and Sunghee, I prayed internally "Jimin, Jin and Sunghee. You people are in the Blue Team"-I seriously want to snatch that shitty sheet and tear it up in pieces!!

I want to kill that person who separated us into groups! Why is it that slut and weirdo! Couldn't it be someone else. I could have done it myself rather than doing it with those two! At least I have bangtan and Sara...

The teacher kept on announcing the other group's members and all.

This is seriously bad luck. Bad bad bad luck...

I have to work with them, and if I don't, I won't be going to Japan!! Why's life so unfair?!

I saw people getting happy and cheering, since they had got their 'best friends' as their group members, unlike me.

"Does someone has a question or problem related to this?"-the teacher asked and I immediately raised my hand
"Yes Zara, go on"-he spoke softly
"C-can you p-please change my group? I'm not so comfortable there..."-I said the last part slowly so that bangtan and sara couldn't hear me. Obviously, they didn't like my reaction towards them like this.

Now I'm a bad friend...what would they be thinking? That their presence disturbs me? No! Not at all... I just want some space from Jin...

Bangtan looked towards me with a weird expression, but some of them, including Sara, knew why was I acting like this.

"I'm sorry child, but the groups can't be changed. You'll have to cooperate with them"-then why the heck did he ask that question in the first place
I nodded in answer and sat back on the seat.

~~~Recess~~~

A hand rested on my shoulders as the recess bell rang. I jumped because of the sudden touch.
I turned just to look at my best friend.
"Hey, what's bothering you being with us?"-Sara asked, concerned
"Nothing..."-I shook my head
"Is it Jin or that blind person again!? I'll kick his butt then"-she kept on making assumptions and I just chuckled.
"No no, it's not Sungjae"-I chuckled slighlty at the thought of a 'blind Sungjae'
"He's a really good friend"-I stated with a reassuring smile
"Then who is it?"-she was seriously determined to know
"It's no one. I'm fine with you people. We're gonna win this!"-I high-fived her
"Sure! But if anyone tries to bother you, just inform me. I'll take their class"-she said with a sweet smile on her face.
"What's up girls!? Can I join your talk? Thanks!"- Sunghee interrupted, batting her eyelashes.

Obviously, she can't! Why the hell does she show her face again and again?! She even asked us and then thanked us! Although we didn't even answer her!
Her attitude is getting on my nerves.

I forced a smile on my face and tried not to punch her face.

"Hi! It's nice to meet you, Sunghee"-I took out my hand for a handshake
"Yeah, it's nice to meet you too"-she first looked at me, then my hand, and then again at my face and gave me a weird expression as if she had seen somebody vomit

That was quite rude.

If she doesn't want to shake hands, why should I offer her. I rubbed my hands together and smiled a little.

"So, we're in the same group! Isn't it great!"-she exclaimed. Yeah, I love being with you -_-
"Yeah, quite nice huh?"-I answered. If you can't shake hands with me, how're we going to work with each other. Sure, we can use chopsticks 😑
"Yup! We'll have so much fun!"-she was seriously going red. I didn't know that she was THIS excited. Someone help her she's going to blast.
"Sure! You need to uhh calm down...a little"-I told her
"I get too excited"-she calmed down
"Hmm"-I nodded
"Am I even sitting here? Or am I invisible?"-Sara said, scratching her head a little in confusion, who remained quiet through the the whole conversation.
"I'm sorry! Nice to meet you too!"-Sunghee shook hands with her, vigorously. Was there something on my hand, that she didn't shook hands with me?

I collected all of my stuff and dumped it in my bag, just like trash being dumped into a dustbin.
"We both will be leaving for the cafeteria now. Bye!"-I hung my bag and pulled Sara along.
"I'll come with you people too!"-she clung onto my arm. Why the heck is she stuck to us like glue?!
"O-okay"-I started to walk

When we entered the cafeteria, I saw J-hope waving his hand towards us and telling us to sit with them.
When we arrived there, there were only two seats reserved for Sara and me.

"Oh! Thank you so much boys! You reserved a seat especially for me!"-Sunghee hugged J-hope and sat on one of the seats.
"But, these were for Zara and Sara..."-he said under his breath
"It's okay..." I whispered to J-hope "I'll take another one"-I said while pulling out another chair from a certain table.
"So, hey guys! Between thanks for the seats!"-Sara said while breaking the awkward silence because of Sunghee.

We all sat quiet for a few moments because of Sunghee's presence. She eyed all of us in confusion.

"So yeah...we're all in one group! Y-yay..."-Jimin said awkwardly
"Yeah sure..."-I muttered under my breath
"We have to win this, don't we?"-Namjoon continued
"Yup! Then we'll go to Japan!"-Sunghee squealed
There's only one thing in my mind...the food there...
"Can't we do this like, individually? "-I said, irritated.
"A chain is only as strong as its weakest link"-Jungkook and Sara said at the same time. Wow, what a coincidence.
They both eyed each other and smiled a little.
"Great minds think alike!"-Sara said while they both high-fived each other.
We all laughed at their coincidence.

"Let's get together and then do the work! Isn't it a great idea?"-Suga said in excitement. Am I seeing him like this, I mean THIS active, the first time?
"Since Jin hyung is the eldest, we'll do the work at his house!"-Taehyung suggested
Jin looked at us suddenly when his name was mentioned.

Not with Jin and Sunghee!

God! Not this again...
