*JENNA'S P.O.V*
A lie in felt so good. It had been an eventful week at school and a lazy Saturday morning was definitely welcomed.
"Jenna! Jenna, someone's at the door!" My mum yelled from downstairs.
"Urgh!" I groaned, rolling out of bed, shoving my feet into my white slippers near my bed and standing up, fixing my checkered pajama shorts and purple vest top.
I bet it's Megan. Wanting to know if I'm going to Town today or something, like she does quite often. Anyway, she's the only one that would call for me.
I walked into the living room, stopping dead in my tracks as I saw who was waiting in my porch.
"G-George?" I stuttered.
He turned his head to me from looking out the window and smiled, looking at me. "Sorry, did I wake you?"
What the fuc-
I looked down at myself, my crumpled pajamas covered my body, my hair messily tide back.
"One sec!!" I yelped, running upstairs.
I can't believe that. The hottest guy in the school had just seen my 'morning' face.
I threw on some black jeans and a cream jumper, looking outside and seeing the snow starting to fall again.
I brushed my brown hair, leaving it down before putting on some foundation, blush, mascara, eye pencil and lipstick. What? I feel more confident.
I ran back down and back into the living room where George had made himself quite at home by slouching on the sofa.
"Why are you here?" I asked, making him jump and turn to look at me.
He got up, shrugging. "I just wanted to see you again, that's all.."
That. That made my heart skip a beat.
"Um.. Alright.." I said, a smile growing.
"Coming?" He smiled, walking to the door.
I looked at him, "Where?"
"Wherever! Just come onn!" He dragged, smiling. I laughed and went over to join his side, closing the door after shouting bye to Mum.
I walked down the path, slightly behind him, looking at his back. His grey jeans sagging only slightly below his bum, blue jean jacket corresponding well.
Why does someone like him want to be with me without schoolwork binding us together?
Stuff like this really doesn't happen to me.
*GEORGE'S P.O.V*
We got to the park, sitting under the tree side by side. In silence. Awkward silence.
When I brought girls out, It'd usually be more action than talking anyway.. But not with Jenna. I wanted to get to know her.
"So.." I coughed, making her look round to me, "What's your family like?"
She face fell and she shrugged, "Average I guess.. Mum is ill quite a lot, that's why I have such a strong relationship with Daniel. My dad was put in prison when I was 4 and I haven't seen him since.." She sighed.
Great. Now I felt like a fuck bag for bringing it up. "I'm sorry.."
She laughed at me, "Its fine! Really.." She smiled. I smiled back. "What about your friends?"
She gulped and looked down, "I, I don't really have a lot of friends.. Just Megan mostly."
Wow. How could a girl as nice as her only have one friend?! I'll change that.
"At least it's someone you love and trust." I smiled, to which she returned it again.
"How about you? What are your friends like?" She asked. I moved a little closer to her so our knees where touching before replying.
"The mates I have in school are all cool. We aren't goody goody by any means, far from, but what happens outside of school is worse I guess.." I sighed, shaking my head and leaning down to play with the fallen snow.
"Like Ben and Matt bad?"
She already knew someone was on my case. So much for trying to keep her safe silently.
"Sort of.." I coughed, "It doesn't matter! Let's do something?" I asked, well more like demanded, as I got up.
She smiled up at me. She looked absolutely stunning.
I looked down to the ground, silently cursing and shaking my head. Something hit me hard on the head, making me look up, brushing the snow out my hair.
"HEY!" I laughed, picking up a handful of snow and throwing it at Jenna. She squealed and dodged it before giggling and picking up some more.
"It's on!" I smirked, picking up two armfuls of snow and throwing it as hard as I could.
"Fuck! George!!" She screamed as the snow sent her down to her knees.
Shit.
I guess I still didn't know my own strength..
"Sorry, Jenna!!" I ran over, crouching down.
She whimpered, holding my arm tight before smirking, pulling me down in the snow beside her.
"No fair!" I laughed, looking at her. Her big brown eyes looked similar, just a bit smaller, to mine. Her dimples showed each time she smiled, denting her skin.
"Sorry, but two armfuls wasn't fair!" She replied, giggling.
"Yeah, sorry about that.." I said, pursing my lips. She smiled, "Its fine!"
She shivered. I got up and held out my hand to pull her up. She gratefully placed her hand in mine and got up, dusting off the snow.
I took off my jacket and wrapped it over her shoulders, she looked up at me with a confused confession glued to her face.
"Won't you get cold?!"
"I'll survive.." I smiled, and took her hand again before walking down the path of the park.
"George?" Her small, innocent voice chirped, I looked down to see she was looking at our hands.
"Why do you want to spend time with me?"
I smiled, looking around and biting the inside of my cheek. Josh had told me to get to know her well to keep an eye on her from whatever Ben had planned. But, it wasn't just that. I wanted to spend time with her. That's all I've been wanting to do lately in all honesty..
"Why not?"
