*JENNA'S P.O.V*
That party last night was just a bit hectic...
I can't get the vision of George being punched and rolled about. I mean, why? Why was he caught up in things like that? The boy that I'd gotten to know isn't like that.. Or is he?..
To get my mind off it, I invited Megan to town for a bit of shopping. She didn't ask for a reason why, she LOVES clothes and all that stuff, she'd never turn it down.
"What about this?" She asked, picking up a black and gold flowing jumper, holding it against herself and looking in the mirror.
"That's gorgeous!" I smiled, looking up from my phone at her and nodding.
"Have some interest, girl!" She sighed, swaying the jumper around.
I shrugged, "I don't see anything I like.."
She rolled her eyes, pulling at my wrist and taking me over to a clothes rack, "If you don't pick something I'm slapping you"
"Fine fine.." I laughed, sighing and looking through the clothes. Don't get me wrong, I love clothes and all that girly stuff, but I just never know what to buy or what would suit me.. If that makes sense?
I came across this really nice light blue dress, it looked like it went to mid thigh and was figure hugging.
I was a bit conscious about how tight it was, but.. At least I wouldn't get slapped by Megan?
"Found something" I groaned, walking over to her by the changing rooms. She'd already tried the jumper on.
"Alright, go and try it on and I'll wait here, you better be getting it because I'm Loving this jumper!" She laughed, wiggling her hips and looking down at it.
I scoffed in disgust at her, smiling, before making my way into the cubicle.
--
"Ready!" I yelled, looking at myself once more.
I'm pleasantly surprised, the dress showed off my figure and was the perfect length; not too little or too much.
"Show me then, slow coach!" Megan yelled back, I could hear the impatience in her voice.
I rolled me eyes, opening the door.
Her eyes widened, a smile creeping onto her lips as she stood up. "That's fucking gorgeous, Jen! George won't be able to keep his hands off you if he sees you in that!"
"Shut up!" I laughed, flashing her the finger and looking down, "You really like it?"
"I love love LOVE it! Now, come on and buy it" She smiled before walking off.
"Erm, Meg? I need to get changed." I put my hand on my hip, looking at her.
"Hurry uppp!" She groaned, leaning her back against the wall.
How rude.
--
"One sec, let me get these shoes!" She practically screamed as we were walking out a different shop, carrier bags filling our arms.
"Fine, I'll wait here" I sighed, walking out the door and resting my back against the outside window.
Looking around the town, I saw a few people from school walking on the opposite side. I just bowed my head down, I didn't like being looked at, which was pretty impossible whilst dating someone like George.
I risked a glance up to see Jack. He was walking with a bit of a lip and, from what I could see, he had a large bruise on his right cheek.
I kept staring at him, I still think it was completely out of hand what he did to George. He'd only been there for the party, it was Jack that had caused that. It's his own fault.
Someone stepped into my vision, bringing me back to reality. I thought it was Megan at first so I smiled, but then it quickly faded as I saw who it was.
Well, I didn't really know who it was exactly...
"Are you Jenna?" One of them asked.
It was 2 boys, quite muscular with dark hair.
"Er..Erm..Y-yes?" I stuttered, looking down at my bags.
"Do you know of Mr Shelley?" The other one, who was slightly taller than the first that spoke, asked.
George? Did these two know him?..
"Y-yes.. Why?" I asked, looking up at their faces.
They looked at each other, smirking slightly before turning back to me simultaneously.
"Come with us." He said, moving forward.
I stepped back, which wasn't far, my back hit the wall. "N-no!"
"George wants you." The other said, stepping forward and holding my arm.
I found the courage to move away, my voice talking clearer, "If he needs me, he'd come and get me himself."
They laughed, stepping back, "This is gonna be harder than we thought, report back to Ben." The taller one whispered, just loud enough for me to catch what he'd said.
"Sorry. Have a good day.. Jenna." The smirked before walking down the street, as if nothing had happened.
"Done!"
I jumped, holding my chest as I looked over my shoulder. To my relief, it was only Megan with another bag.
"Relax! You look like you've seen a ghost" She laughed before looking deeper at my face, "Are you okay?!"
I nodded, gulping and looking in the direction that the two boys had gone. Satisfied with the fact they were nowhere to be seen.
"Fine..Let's just go back" I stuttered, looking down at her and picking up a smile.
I need to ask George about this..
