*GEORGE'S P.O.V*
"Wait, slow down Jen. What did they say?!" I sighed, leaning forward and resting my elbows on my knees, pressing the phone onto my ear.
She'd called me, stressing about something that happened when she was out at town. I was in the warehouse with Josh, JJ and Aaron.
"Put it on speaker phone!" JJ whispered. I nodded, sighing and quickly clicking the loud speaker, holding it a bit away from my mouth.
"2 boys came up to me in town today and asked that I-I went with them because apparently you needed me for something." She spoke quickly, taking a breath as she finished.
What?! How.. What?
I broke the silence, "What did they look like?!"
"Er.. Brown hair.. Quite muscular, one was a bit taller than the other.." She sighed.
I looked around at the boys, they just shrugged and one name popped into my head straight away.. Ben.
"What did you do?" I stressed, biting my nail on my other hand.
"I didn't go with them, obviously.. I knew that if you wanted me, you would have rang or something" She said, sounding a little frustrated.
I smiled, "Good. Never go with anyone who don't know unless I tell you about it.. Alright?"
She stayed quiet for a few seconds before speaking again, smile evident in her voice, "I know, I know... Bye, George"
"See you soon, Jen"
And with that, I hung up, throwing my phone onto the sofa beside me and sitting back.
"How do they know about Jenna?" Aaron asked, his medium length blonde hair falling over his eyes a little.
"How the fuck should I know?!" I rasped, rubbing my forehead with my thumb and index finger.
Why? Just fucking why. This time, I actually thought that I had a girl that could change my ways.. That I could be myself around. But with gangs gallor going after her... It's pretty damn hard.
"We'll get answers, mate. This isn't going to extend.." JJ sighed, coming over and sitting next to me.
I scoffed and moved away a bit, shaking my head. "They've just come at such a bad time. Jenna doesn't deserve to be caught up in all this shit," I spat, standing up "So she won't."
I walked straight out the door, slamming it shut behind me and blocking out their faces.
--
Knocking on Ben's door as hard as I could, I didn't have a clue what I was going to say to him, and I didn't really care. The anger will just carry me through.
The door swung open, my mouth opened to yell before quickly pulling back, seeing a middle aged woman looking at me.
"May I help you?" She asked, looking at my quick expression change in confusion.
"Er.. Erm.. Is Ben in?" I asked, trying to stop myself from growling his name.
She relaxed a bit, nodding and showing a smile. "Yes, I'll shout him down now. Wait here, love!"
I nodded, shoving my hands into my pockets and waiting. I wonder if his mum knew about what's going on.. She seemed like such a sweet lady, so most likely not. And, I completely agree with 'us' keeping all this away from our families.. They're at no risk if they don't know.
"Shelley? Th'fuck are you at my house?!" Ben spat, shutting the door as he stepped outside, standing in front of me.
"What do you want from Jenna?!" I hissed, getting straight to the point, feeling my anger building up higher just looking at his face.
His face softened a little, a smirk growing as he let out a laugh. "Seriously? I ain't done nothing to her."
My jaw clenched. "Don't play games with me, little shit! 2 of you're little possy wanted her to go with them today."
His eyes widened a bit, chuckling. "I guess they wanted to get a head start."
"A head start in what?!"
He rolled his eyes, resting his back on the door and pulling out a cigarette and lighter out from his pocket, putting it up to his thin lips and puffing away.
"Ben! Don't fucking keep me waiting!!" I hissed, coming closer to him.
He smirked, blowing the smoke into my face to which I just stood there, letting it slowly drift away, not loosing eye contact with him.
"You know whats coming to you, Shelley. All these games, lies.. You should have known it would all blow up in your face." He shrugged.
I shook my head, grabbing the cigarette out his mouth and taking a smoke, puffing it back into his face.
"Try it. I fucking dare you." I rasped.
"Oh, I am. It starts here. So, round up your little pussy foot friends and I suggest you run." He hissed, deadly serious, even with a slight smirk on his lips.
"We don't need to run from anything or anyone."
"Maybe you don't, but how strong to you think your bird is? Or your family? Like I've said.. It starts now." He said.
I clenched my fists, ready to fight this fucker right here, right now. But, instead, I felt a presence behind me, turning round to see it was Matt, the muscular, scary fella.
"What's going on?" I asked, turning from Matt's stare and looking back at Ben.
"Like I said.. It's starting now."
And with that, Matt grabbed the back of my jacket, pulling me back before I felt my body collide with the path.
After numerous kicks to my torso, Ben stepped over, kneeling down in front of me.
My hand was clutching my stomach, my breathing coming out in short, raspy pants as I looked up at him.
He tilted his head, lifting my face up. "Run. We're coming."
