*GEORGE'S P.O.V*

From the first gunshot that sounded, I knew damn well what was about to go down. And it was bad.

That 'group' that Ben had knitted together had found out exactly where I was today with an impeccable plan of action.

They had the whole Zoo in panic, everyone scurrying out the tall entrance gate, which was for the better. I would be fine right now, they certainly don't scare me. But Jenna was here. That's what frightened me.

When the bolts of the door flew off, I pushed Jenna back. She fell behind a few storage boxes but it was a lot better than being out in the open.

I stood in front of the boxes, hiding her best I could before looking at Ben and Matt come into the small space, armed with the weapons of a pistol and knife between them.

Luckily, I always carried my gun around with me too, as they'd know already. I kept my hand near my pocket in case of emergency and glared at the two pathetic low lives in front of me.

"Enjoying your little date to the zoo, Shelley? That girl has turned you right soft!" Ben spat, amusement evident in his tone.

I raised my eyebrow, "You really think you're funny, don't you?"

Ben laughed without humour, "I think that I'm right, that's what. Where's the tough George? The old George who practically fucked girls for a living and had fights every weekend, eh?"

I tensed my jaw. I wasn't proud of my past by any means. I've changed now. Well.. The fucking girls part. I'd still beat the shit out of anyone that dared cross the line.

"He matured. Something you should try." I sneered, eyeing Matt as he looked around the confined space.

"Where's your bird?" He spat, moving forward so he stood shoulder to shoulder with Ben.

"My bird? I don't tend to have them.. Their feathers get everywhere, so much fuss!" I smiled, shrugging and inwardly laughed at his unamused expression.

"You know what we mean," He snapped "Your little girlfriend.. Where did you shove her off to this time?"

I narrowed my eyes at him, "She got away whilst you maniacs where shooting in a public place!"

"You see.." Ben chuckled, "I don't believe you."

"And why's that?" I asked, standing my ground.

"Because if you knew we were there and armed.. If anything you'd want to keep her with you. So why would you separate? You wouldn't.. Meaning she's in here" He smirked, obviously proud of himself.

I had to keep a straight face, making sure my body was still in front of the boxes Jenna was behind. "Bullshit.. Getting her away from you guys would be my main priority"

"Then I'm guessing you wouldn't mind if we had a look around here.." Matt smirked, stepping forward.

I knew they had it figured out already, no more games. I pulled out my gun faster than he could blink and held it out in front of me.

"I suggest you both leave right now.." I hissed.

Ben pulled out his gun, along with Matt whipping out his knife. But I didn't fault, I held the gun strongly.

"See, she is in here.." Ben smirked, tilting his head.

"So what?! She's done fuck all wrong to you!" I growled, hearing my voice rise a bit.

"You're missing the point Shelley.." He hissed before smirking, looking around the space "Come out now, little girl.. You don't want Georgey getting hurt because of you, do you?"

I knew exactly what he was trying to do. But it wasn't going to work.

"Don't Jen, I'm fine." I said, glaring at him.

However, they knew what they were doing. Matt shot forward and dug the sharp blade into my hand, making me drop my weapon.

"Argh!!" I growled, crouching down a bit, putting pressure on the wound with my other hand.

"George?!" Jenna's voice came from behind me, I tightened my eyes shut, hearing Ben and Matt laugh.

I looked round at her and just glared before standing back up, pulling her up with me.

"I'm sorry.." She whispered, "I thought they'd properly hurt you.."

I shook my head and smiled slightly at her, wrapping my arm round her and stood in front of her slightly.

"There.. You found us both now.. Just move out the way.." I sighed, tired of their dumbass games.

"I have something you might want to hear first.." Ben smirked, looking at Jenna then to me. "You'd both need to hear this.."

"Spit it out!" I prompted, becoming more aware of Jenna's slight trembling.

"You know how your family moved to Scotland, George?" He smiled.

I widened my eyes at that already. How did he know?! Why did that even matter?!

"Yes.." I let out, trying my best to keep my voice from breaking.

He chuckled, "Let's just say that my so called 'little' group is bigger than you thought. UK wide in fact.."

I didn't like where this was going. I didn't like it at all.

I stayed quiet, keeping my eyes set firmly on nothing but him.

"Well.. I received news this morning that my men had done their job. Your family are currently being held hostage in a top secret spot." He smirked.

I noticed Jenna's head look up at me quickly but yet I just carried on staring at Ben, tears prickling my eyes with threat to fall over my waterline.

"So.. Since its a tad unfair.. I'd like to give you the option.." He carried on but I couldn't bare to listen any longer.

My family. The last things I did was argue with my parents.. I thought I did them a favour by letting them go and staying behind, I thought they'd be safe and away from all the trouble. Turns out I was wrong. So so wrong.

"Well then, George, what do you say?" Ben piped up, I looked around then room quickly at Matt's smirk then down to Jenna's wide eyes and deep frown.

I frowned at her before looking back up at Ben quickly. "To what?"

He rolled his eyes and sighed heavily, I could feel Jenna's trembling become more and more hard-hitting.

"To the trade option I just gave," He smirked again, watching Jenna with amusement before looking back up at me, keeping the amused look plastered on his face.

"Trade your family...For Jenna."
