"Jace will you toss me a mango?" Harry asked in the morning.

"Exotic fruit eh?"

"Yep I'm not real into normal fruit. I like things to be like me: sweet, weird, and very tasty."

She rolled her eyes, picking one up from the basket as Harry sat down at the table next to me. "Want me to cut it for you?"

"Sure," he shrugged, leaning over to glance at my twitter timeline with me. She pulled out a knife and a cutting bored after washing off the fruit, when Katherine came into our bus. She looked over at us, blushing, and then whispered something into Jacelyn's ear.

"No sorry," she said, setting down the knife. "I haven't.." she paused, freezing and looking straight ahead. "I haven't started yet..."

Katherine grumbled something about going to the store and left. Jace hadn't moved.

"Jace?" Harry called. "Jacelyn? You who?"

She fumbled in choppily slicing the fruit and shoving it into a bowl, slamming it down before him and then turning around to lean over the sink. Her shoulders were up to her ears as if she was trying to hide herself, and it was completely silent.

Harry poked at his mango. "This still has the skin on it...and it's in one piece with just slits in it."

I frowned at his bowl. Locking my phone, I stood warily and came over to her, making a shield from Harry who eventually caught on to our whispering and left the bus, leaving us alone.

"Jacelyn? You ok?"

She didn't look at me even as I brushed some of her hair behind her ear so I could see her face. "I'm late." It was barely a whisper and to me, it made no sense.

"Late? For what?"

"My period Liam! I'm a week and a half late! I just realized it when Katherine came in and asked if I had anything for it!"

My own face paled quite drastically and the cozy, tight bus suddenly seemed cold and suffocating. She began to pace the length of the bus, clutching her hair in fistfuls. "How long has it been since... the incident?" I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"I don't know," she cried. "Three weeks? Four? Is that even enough time to tell? Am I just overreacting??"

"I don't know!" My voice rose as my own panic caught up with me. "I dont know how your," i gestured up and down her body. "Things work! Have you taken a test? Maybe we are just overreacting. Katherine just went to the store, I'll call her and tell her to pick one up." I whipped my phone out of my pocket and dialed the first four digits of her number before Jace ran over and smacked it out of my hand.

"No!" She cried. "She doesnt know. No one besides Louis knows..." I gulped, but stayed quiet, picking my phone off of the floor.

"Lets give it a little more time," She took a deep breath and straightened her back. "If it still hasnt come by the time we perform in Atlanta then ill go to the doctor."

Atlanta was a week away. I glanced at her, at her stomach, and then down at myself. What had I done?

"Ok."

We stared at each other for a few moment and caught our breath from the yelling and unknowingly holding it during our fear. There was a knock at the door and a head poked through.

"Can you just toss me a mango? You don't have to cut this time. Actually, please don't... I just want my fruit you guys!"

I chuckled and shook my head, chucking a mango at him harder than I intended.
