I was awakened by a slight bump on my shoulder. Oo tulog manok ako. When I opened my eyes, Justine greeted me all smiles. Nagulat ako causing me to jerked of a little bit.

J:

"Hi. Okay ka lang?"

L:

"Yeah Yeah, I'm okay"

J:

"Sorry to wake you but the sun is creeping on my side kaya napaurong ako sayo"

L:

"No it's okay, I don't mind"

P:

"Luch did you sleep well?"

L:

"I think so, anong oras na ba?"

J:

"It's already 11"

I slept for 3 straight hours. After 36 hours of driving, kulang na kulang pa ang 3 hours. But I wasn't here to sleep and Justyn is sitting next to me so sleeping is the last thing on my mind right now, even though I knew I badly needed it. Pero bakit nga pala siya andito? Kanina pa ba siya andito? Hindi ba tumulo ang laway ko habang tulog ako? At para bang nabasa niya ang isipan ko.

J:

"After 2 hours in the road, Leo's car heated up and we have no choice to leave it there"

L:

"Uhmm, I see, so where is he anyway?"

P:

"He stayed there waiting for the towing people. Just want to make sure it's safe"

L:

"So, is he not coming with us?"

I think I sounded pretty much excited. I was bad.

J:

"He is coming. Carlo offered to stay para may kasama naman siya"

L:

"And you left him?"

Justine was taken aback with my question. Maybe the tone I used. But Pao was quick to answer.

P:

"Si Justine kasi nag pareserve dun sa campsite, she needs to be there when we arrive"

L:

"Okay, I dead panned."

P:

"First time may magandang ginawa si Carlo haha"

Paulo was in the mood singing along with his favorite song. Nilakasan pa niya ang radio raising his hands up. And with the blaring music on the speaker I let my thoughts drown with the music.

Ilang oras pa lang kaming magkasama but it felt like forever because of the awkwardness.

It didn't felt this way seeing her this morning, but knowing that he had a boyfriend and andito pa made my day somewhat depressing.

I mean I knew that he had a boyfriend but I half believed it, thinking that Deniece was just making stories to piss me. Then she nudged my arm. I look at her.

L:

"What?"

J:

"Why so serious?"

L:

"I'm not"

J:

"Seryoso ba ang mga tao don?"
