P:
"That's it?"
It was past 6 pm, Paulo and I were dining at Gerry's after my shift at Max's. It's been 2 days since the talk I had with Justine and I can say that everything is going pretty fine. In fact magkikita kami after naming mag usap ni Paulo. Kelangan ko munang mag courtesy call sa kuya.
L:
"Yes why?
I eyed him as I sip my lemonade.
P:
"Wala man lang iyakan, or like walling, or any drama for that matter?"
I laughed at Paulo's question. Hindi naman to pelikula kaya natural walang ganun.
L:
"Pau, hindi naman yun scripted so no, walang ganun. Ano ka ba?"
P:
"Sabagay, sobrang drama na ang naranasan ko bago kayo magka aminan"
L:
"Yeah, I agree with you on that"
P:
"But wala bang kiss or. ."
L:
"Pau stop it!"
P:
"Fine, fine"
Grabe to si Paulo, ano yun fast forward agad?
We both laughed and giggled.
L:
"Pau, 9 o'clock red head cutie. .and checking you out"
When we got here, there's this guy who seemed to check me out. Little did I know, si Pau pala ang pakay ni Tisoy.
P:
"Yeah I saw him too"
L:
"So? Don't you think it's about time?"
P:
"Luch, please I'm no Ed Sheeran fan"
L:
"Haha Sira"
Paulo gave me a smirk. Ayaw kay tisoy? Choosy.
L:
"But seriously Pau, wala ka bang nakikita that's worth wasting of your precious time?"
After coming OUT to her siblings, Paulo had been so cautious when it comes to dating or even with mere socializing. I don't know why but maybe importante sa kanya ang iisipin ng kanyang mga kapatid when it comes to a choosing partner.
P:
"Well, I don't think I'm ready yet. You see I have to know more of myself and my siblings as well. Gusto kong makilala nila ako hindi lang bilang kapatid nila, kundi bilang ako na ganito, gay"
I rested my hands on his and gave him a reassuring smile.
L:
"I'm sure they'll love that side of you Pau"
P:
"Yah but get your hands off of me, baka isipin pa nila, mag jowa tayo, naku!"
L:
"Haha sira akala ko ba hindi ka pa ready?"
And before Paulo can answer me, my attention was caught by a beautiful lady that is walking towards our table. She gave me the warmest smile as she leaned in to hug me. It was Justine.
