6.Alaisha

     As I step through the portal and lay my eyes on Alaisha I'm speechless.

      It's beautiful. We're standing on a mountain ridge with steps carved into it towards the kingdom. Everything is open and the castle is massive and set just a little ways away from the town. I don't know what I was expecting maybe gowns like in old stories but these people wore clothes like where we just came from.

       We're in a forest and from where I am standing I can see the creek and meadow that's secluded to the side of the castle. Just like in my dream.

      "Welcome home Annaliese." I smiled at Cody as he said that. I was no longer nervous but excited.

      We head down the stairs and into town and everyone starts staring and whispering as we walk past them.

      "Look the prince is home but who's she?"

      "I don't know but she looks oddly familiar."

      "Cody everyone's staring at me."

        He chuckled then got on a table, "Everyone I have an announcement." Everyone quieted and gathered around.

      "I would like to introduce Princess Annaliese."

      All of a sudden everyone started cheering and talking of celebrations that the King was sure to have.

      "Come time to see father and Baylee."

      And now the nerves are back.

      Walking to the castle took a little longer now that everyone knew who I was. People would come and talk and some who didn't believe would just stare shocked when they saw me.

      "Princess you finally made it."

      "Jeez it hasn't been that long since you left."

      Xander walked up and hugged me and I sighed. I loved being wrapped in his arms but he pulled away too soon for my liking.

      "Come the King is waiting."

      I was nervous again! I guess Xander noticed 'cause he grabbed my hand and tangled his fingers with mine. I squeezed his hand and smiled my thanks.

     We walked through the front doors and down along hall into the throne room and there was my father sitting on his throne.

      I looked at him and I had a sudden rush of memories of me and him playing in the meadow or with the animals. I started crying and I could see that he was too.

      He stood and started to walk towards me and i did the same but we ended up running and hugging each other.

      "I've missed you my dear Annaliese. I love you."

      "I love you too Dad."

      We just stood there like that for awhile until the doors opened again and a little girl who looked about 5 with blonde hair came in.

      "Cody!! You're home!" She ran towards him and he scooped her up in a big hug. "I missed you. Did you bring my sister home?!" She was all excitement.

      Cody looked at me and so did she. She squealed and ran towards me then jumped in my arms and practically choked me to death.

      "You must be Baylee."

      "Yes I am!! And I'm so excited to finally see you!!"

      "And I am happy to see you too."

      "Come let us go to the sitting room and we shall catch up."

      We were in there for a few hours and would've been in there longer had Baylee not gotten hungry.

      "Daddy I'm hungry! Can we please eat now?"

      "Well Angel you haven't told me what you want yet."

      "PIZZA!!"

      "I should've known."

      We all laughed and then Xander took me to my room. It was huge! There was a big king sized bed with aquamarine blue covers with white outlined flowers on it and if you looked up all you could see was sky and on the far wall there were several windows and doors that lead out to a balcony but there was a tree that I could scale if I wanted to. There was a bathroom that was just for me. The closet was a huge walk in closet that had tons of clothes and dresses, even ballgowns and shoes.

      I walked out of the closet to see Xander holding an Alaskan husky puppy. They were my favorite.

      I squealed and ran to him.

      "Where did you get him?!"

      "From a lady in town. He's the runt."

      He was white with black and his face looks like he's mad with the way his black fur is. It's so cute.

      "I'm gonna call you Demon." He liked it cause he perked his ears up and licked my face.

      "Nice name." He chuckled.

      "Well I think it suits him. Look at his face he looks mad. How did you know I liked dogs?"

      "You told me when we were little. And these are your favorite if I remember correctly?"

      "Yes they are. Thank you so much!" I set Demon down and gave him a big hug.

      I pulled away and looked up at him and he leaned down and kissed me. It took me a second to register what was going on but then I kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist pulling me closer to him.

      The door opened and Alex walked in.

      "How come I always have to catch ya'll making out?" He laughed.

      "Well knock next time."

      "Ha supper's done." And he left.

      "I guess you were right about your brother."

       "I'm always right Princess." He said with a smirk.

      "Yea right!"

      "Come time for pizza."
