Shannon's POV

I am really excited for this weekend, surprisingly. I thought I would never want to go anywhere with Niall, let alone a bonfire, where...well you know what happens at those. Might as well enjoy myself this weekend, instead of being my uptight self.

"Shannon?" I hear footsteps coming from my upstairs hallway.

"I'm in here!" I answer trying to hold in the excitement in my voice. I stuff my gray Hollister sweats in a duffle bag I pulled out if my closet.

"Hey, what time we leaving girlfriend?! You are taking forever in here! And why the hell you taking those hideous clothes? I told you that we are going shoppin for new ones?!" Kathleen snap and pops the peppermint gum in her mouth and puts her hand on her hip, smirking. Her eyebrows are raised in confusion.

"Hey!" I scold "I happen to like my clothes" I smile and laugh stuffing more of my so called 'hideous' clothes in the duffel to irritate my best friend.

"Well that's going to have to change soon." she laughs and smirks before playfully punching me in the arm.

"Now take those fugly clothes out of that thing! We CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT, have you wearing those at the bonfire. All my friends have to be presentable! Maybe in a slutty way but, presentable!" she laughs and I join.

"See this is why our friendship works, we are polar opposites." I say between laughs

"Opposites attract, what can I say?" She shrugs and gives me another reminder to not pack my 'clothes' with me and leaves my cramped room, probably to go suck face with Harry, hehe.

Maybe this mini vacation won't be so bad. New clothes, hot guys, and a whole weekend with my besties In like a million dollar house seems like a pretty fun weekend to me.

Niall's POV

One question. Why the hell am I excited to go shopping? With a two teenage girls? ..because Shannon is going to be there. My conscience answers my question.

I nervously tug at the hem of my white polo shirt. I should have warn something more casual, but I want Shannon to picture me the same as when she saw me at the party. I want her to remember me holding her, saving her life. Maybe then I might have a chance with her. Hopefully.

"Niall? Haha what are you doing" my thoughts interrupted by Shannon's sweet voice, a confused yet amused look on her beautiful face. Her eyes rake my body, from head to toe. She is standing at the bottom of the stairs staring at the kitchen.

That's when I realize I have been pacing arounds her kitchen, circling the island many times.

I abruptly stop my pacing, caught off track "Oh um, I...well, was thinking." I shyly smile. When she returns the gesture my heart leaps. Just the sight if her makes my knees weak.

She takes a step closer reaching for something. "Hahaha, are you gunna move so I can eat your delish masterpiece?" she asked a cute smile on her face. She gestures behind me at the granite countertop.

"What?" I need to stop getting distracted, I look like an idiot."Oh sorry Shannon." I realize I'm in her way.

After mentally cursing to myself for looking stupid in front of her I step to the side almost bumping into the fridge, once again looking stupid. She just laughs and picks up the plate full of steamy pancakes. I hope she likes them, it took me an hour to find her moms flour.

We walk in the other room while Shannon pulls a piece of pancake off her plate and stuffs it in her mouth.

I watch Her little petite body move and chew. She looks so adorable. Her batman pj pants hang off her perfectly curvy hips, while her loose shirt...omg she's not wearing a bra. I immediately look away feeling a little guiltily I was looking at her.. you know....boobs. Why isn't she wearing one? There are two males here, then again she wasn't planning on having company.

We walk through the hallway to the living room and plop on a leather couch where we meet Kathleen and Harry. Kathleen is eating a bag of lays, staring at Harry and Harry is running his hand through his curls, he looks confused.

"What do you mean I have to go to he mall? I fucking hate shopping! you know that Kathleen!" Harry barks at Kathleen adjusting in his seat, once again running his finger through his curls. Kathleen looks amused, but I can tell she is trying to hide it behind a serious expression. She pops a chip in her mouth. She always seems to be eating something, yet her body does not show it one bit.

"C'mon babe, Shannon desperately needs clothes for the bonfire, I mean you want her to look good right?" she batts her eyelashes at him.

Harry fights the smile escaping on his lips.

"I don't care about any other women but you." he smiles and tucks Kathleen's hair behind her ear.

"No offense Shannon." he glances at Shannon who is now laughing.

"No offense taken." she smiles and continues to laugh. I love her soft, adorable laugh.

"So you'll go?" Kathleen questions, a smirk plastered on her face

"I guess," Harry says and sighs "But don't push it." Kathleen giggles "And remember, I'm only doing this for you" he places a light kiss on Kathleen's nose.

"Thanks babe! I really appreciate it!" she throws herself at him and kisses him for probably the hundredth time today.

"Okay! Okay! We get it! Your have a perfect relationship!" Shannon teases getting off the couch and putting her hands up in the air, almost to defend herself.

Kathleen looks at Harry and giggles

"Thanks for the pancakes Niall, they were yummy." Shannon smiles and looks at me. I return the gesture while she walks to the kitchen, probably to put her dish away.

"Your welcome beautiful." she turns around and continues to grin.

"Hurry your non-existent butt up! we gotta go get you new clothes!" Kathleen yells through the hallway Shannon took with her plate.

Harry groans "Don't remind me." You can hear Shannon's laugh echo through the hallway.
