I finished up the small bag of chips that I grabbed off of her snack table.
"Shit... I have ten minutes to get back," Gabbie groaned as she got to her feet. "I loved this actually. You're as cool as I thought."
She went to the door and opened it, looking back at me. She waved and walked out the door, leaving it wide open.
She just left me in her green room. I was all alone with her stuff, and she didn't even tell me to leave. I took a long look around from the spot I was sitting at. The green room even reminded me of her, and I don't know why.
I decided to get up. I pulled out a pen from my back pocket and ripped of a piece of paper from my autograph book and wrote:
Thanks for listening to me. I really loved getting to know you. I'll text you once I'm on my way home from VidCon. Love you! xoxo
Maybe that note was hinting too much at the point that I was falling in love with her. Whatever.
I walked towards the door and stood in the doorway. I would always remember this moment. This moment was the moment I became friends with Gabbie Hanna.
I moved forward, shutting the door carefully behind me. I looked around to see a place I could discreetly exit, and I found one. It was the way we came in.
I ran towards the opening and slipped through it. I looked around to make sure no one was watching, and I made it seem like I was walking around to go meet another YouTuber.
Looking to my left, I saw Gabbie hugging a fan, and we locked eyes. I smiled at her and gave a wave.
Her beautiful chestnut eyes made me think about how it would feel to wake up next to her every morning. I shook the thought out of my head and went on my way. I didn't want to be here anymore, so I quickly sent a text to my father and went towards the exit. I went there for her, and I met her, so my work there was done.
I went outside and wrapped my arms around my chest. All I wanted was to go home and text Gabbie for hours and hours. I wanted to get to know her better. I wanted to convince her that I was worth her time and that she didn't make the wrong choice to offer me to stay with her.
My father rolled up in his 2015 Chevy Silverado and honked his horn once, signalling me to hurry up, so I quickly sprung to my feet and went to the passenger side of the car.
I opened the door and threw myself in.
"I got the stuff from the hotel. I decided to go home tonight," he said with a deep growl.
I nodded and buckled up, laying my head against the window.
I started to think about Gabbie again. Her beautiful brown hair and her brown eyes were pulling me in, and I even knew I had no chance with her.
Drowning myself deep in my thoughts, I slowly fell asleep, and my whole body became weightless.
   Ding!
My phone went off, and my father angrily shook my shoulder.
"Your stupid phone has been going off and on for the past ten minutes. Wake up and answer whoever is texting you," he yelled, pulling his hand away in one swift movement.
I let out a groan and rubbed my eyes. Crap, it was already dark out, and I was suppose to text Gabbie when I was heading home.
Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I realised that there were 10 messages from her on my phone, so I opened them. Each of them read:
The Daddy Show: Hi
The Daddy Show: Where are you at?
The Daddy Show: Have you left VidCon yet?
The Daddy Show: I wanna see you before I go
The Daddy Show: I guess you are already gone
The Daddy Show: You forgot to text me like you said you would Ash
The Daddy Show: You better hurry up and answer me I'm bored
The Daddy Show: I've waited for 1 hour where are you?
The Daddy Show: Tick tock
The Daddy Show: I'm taking a nap. Text me when you wake up
   Shit.
   I quickly replied:
Me: I'm so sorry. I fell asleep Gabs. I'm here now
All I have to do is wait for her reply now.
