Gabbie pulled her face away from mine and stared at me blankly. I saw her mouth the words "I'm sorry," and then she ran out of the room with tears forming in her eyes.
"Gab!" I yelled, running after her.
She turned around quickly to face me, her hand rubbing her arm gently as she looked to the ground.
She whispered, "I didn't mean for that to happen. I'm sorry. I just-"
I put my hand under her chin and lifted her head to look at me. I pressed my forehead to hers, my lips only centimetres from hers.
"Maybe I wanted to do that myself," I muttered as I slowly got closer. "Maybe I wanted you to do that so I could do this."
Right as I said that, I kissed her gently, my hand going from her chin to her cheek. I moved my face back, keeping my hand on her face still, rubbing her cheek. This time I was a few inches from her face. I could her cheeks turn a soft pink colour as she tried to look to the side to hide it.
Gabbie gasped, "I can't do this!"
She quickly moved my hand from her face and went for the front door. She ran out of the apartment, leaving the door wide open.
"Oh," I said to myself as I walked back into my room slowly, closing the door.
I laid on my bed, placing my face into my pillow. What did I do wrong?
---
Two hours later, and Gabbie still wasn't back. I must have fucked up really badly for her not to even tell me where she went.
Then I heard the doorknob wiggled and the door slam against the wall. I heard giggling and an unfamiliar voice being covered by it, so I got up moved closer to the bedroom door. I pressed my ear to the door to hear the giggling and then suddenly it stopped.
I wanted to walk out of the room to see who the other person was, but I had a feeling that Gabbie didn't want to see me right now. I sulked back to my bed and laid back down, slowly shutting my eyes.

(Gabbie's POV)
---
"You're so funny. Stop it," I laughed and hit the guy's shoulder standing next to me.
He smiled at me, but this smile didn't seem to friendly. I was intoxicated again, so maybe it was just mind messing things up.
"Hun, let's lay you down. You have no one else in the house with you, right?" He asked me, locking arms with me as he took me to my room.
I looked at him and replied, "My roommate might be home, but they probably fell asleep or is listening to their music."
He nodded and took me to my room, laying me down. He sat down next to me and began to rub up my thigh. Leaning down, he began to slowly kiss my face, slowly bringing himself closer to my lips.
---
(My POV)
---
I woke up slowly. Going to my bedroom door, I stopped, hearing noise from Gabbie's room. I opened my door and went towards her room.
I knocked on her door and waited. No answer, so I opened the door. I couldn't believe my eyes. Gabbie, the one I kissed earlier, was making out with some dude she met that night.
The guy stopped and got up, coming to whisper in my ear.
"And she liked it too..."
He walked out, waving towards Gabbie before he left.
"How could you?" I cried. "Were you planning to lead me on?"
She stared blankly at me as she got to her feet. She walked in front of me, about to go in for a hug.
"Don't you dare," I sighed as I turned my back towards her. "Just don't, Gabbie."
I walked out of her room, slamming the door behind me.
Tears began to flow down my cheeks like waterfalls, and my face got hot. I went into my room and began to hyperventilate as I took a pillow off of my bed and threw it at the wall.
How could she?
"How could you? How dare you do this to me!" I yelled at no one. "I love you, and you go off and make out of with other dude! What the fuck!"
My anger began to bubble inside of me as I took a single look at the wall, punching it.
Then the door opened and arms wrapped around me from behind, pulling me to the ground.
"Fuck you! Let me go!"
Gabbie got a tighter grip on me and rested her head on my shaking shoulder, pulling me more onto her lap.
"You're having a manic episode. I will not. I triggered this, and now, it is time for me to make up it," she said sweetly into my ear.
She moved one arm from around my waist as she carefully pulled herself over to a wall to lean on.
I was violently shaking and hyperventilating, muttering words to myself.
"Gabs, why?" I managed to say without yelling.
"I was lonely. I wanted you, but I thought that if it was going to happen, we would need to get to know each other a lot more. Honestly, I didn't really want it. I don't want some random guy. I want you. It was wrong of me to do that, and I'm sorry," she whispered in my ear as she ran her fingers through my hair.
She began to plant kisses on my neck and shoulders as she loosened her grip on my waist. I put my hand on the hand that she was using to run through my hair, and I slowly began to calm down.
The hyperventilating stopped and the shaking lessened, and I leaned my body closer against hers.
"Gabbie," I breathed out. "Don't do this."
She stopped, saying, "But I want to..."
She began to kiss my neck and shoulder again, making each kiss longer.
I tapped on her hand, her hand moving so I could turn around and face her. As I did, she pulled my body closer to hers again, kissing me passionately.
"I don't want to get too far since we aren't really a thing yet, but honestly, I enjoyed that," she said softly, her face only being about an inch from mine.
I got from her lap and helped her up.
"Oh, before I forget, there's going to be a small party over at David's, and don't worry, you won't be the only one not drinking. Wanna come?"
I thought about it for a second and responded, "Sure."
Honestly, I sensed something bad was going to happen to someone there, but I wanted to go to make sure she would be okay.
