Chapter Five:Our Jorney with Another Campaion

Koda and I woken up then headed towards the salmon run, where I could change back. As we walked Koda told me stories of his travels with Kenai. I listen fascinated on how similar Kenai and I were with our situation but he truly remind me of Demothi. Suddenly Koda asked me, Hey, Are you alright? Oh sorry I was just thinking. He slowed down until he was at my side then said, You know Keezheekoni, I found out the best way to deal with things is to talk about them. I gave him a small smile then told him, Well while you were telling me about Kenai I started thinking about my brother. The one who's chasing you? I shooked my head, No, He..He died. Koda gave me a sorrow filled looked but we kept going suddenly a wolf jumped out in front of us demanding why we were in his territory. Koda then told him that we were only passing through but he started to growl at Koda even snapping at him, Leave him alone! I yelled. Just then two more wolves came toward us saying, What's going on here? The first on told then that we were trespassing but I told them that we were only passing through, the third wolf then asked for our names, I told him mine with a glare however when Koda told him his he smiled telling us, my great great grand father spoke high of you, he told my that you used to tell stories of your adventures with your brother. Koda smiled, Really? Of course, actually this is quite the honor. As the talked we were led by then to their den. I was suspicious at first but Koda told me that it would be just fine. When we made it Koda stayed with as me as the other wolf he was talking to earlier had offered us if we wanted to sing with the other wolves. I refused but Koda wanted to and since I didn't want to be alone with these things. I went with him, We went outside their den where a full moon was shining brightly. A few where singing already, To be honest it was the most beautiful thing that I had ever heard. After watching a bit the elder wolf asked me to sing, I told him that I don't know how to sing. He chuckled then told me, Young one, every wolf has a song to sing. Why don't you just give it a try. I sighed then took a deep breath and started to howl but to my surprise instead of the usual sound that I have alway heard I heard myself sing. It was a sad song, to which the eldest followed it by another song later he asked me if I wanted to talk about the feeling I held with my song. I told him no. Young one, no one should have that much hurt inside them. I was unsure since he was a wolf but he has been kind to me. I then told him that I didn't feel like it then I said, Um sir my name is Keezheekoni not young one. He smiled at me then said, My name is Elan. The next day we left but before we did Elan met up with us, Koda! Keezheehkoni! Wait a moment! We stopped to see him running towards us, I want you to take one of my packs best tracker to help guild you on your journey. I wanted to refuse but Koda had already thanked him. I glared at him this was same wolf who tried to attack us when we first came here. He glared a bit but said, Hello my name is Awan. Now that introductions are in order lets go. I could just tell I hated this wolf more the the rest.
