The game

Last part ever! and I'm starting a completely new Katy fanfic! 😊💕

(Katys POV)
The tours going great! and mackenzie has surprisingly taken her parents passing well, or at least better then I would have assumed she would take it. We've taken a break and are heading back home to spend Father's Day as a family so we're off to watch a game, I'm kinda nervous because this is the first time Orlando, Flynn and Mackenzie have joined the rest of my family in a public place for celebrations. I just don't want paps trying to ruin it. We head out early and a few of my friends have joined us as well, Markus and Mia. Mackenzie immediately goes and sits with Stella while I greet all my family and get ready for the game to start by of course getting game food first! "Mackenzie come with me so you can pick something to eat please." She hesitantly stops talking to Stella and follows me to the food bar. Mackenzie tugs at my pants while we're standing in line and without saying a word or even looking me just points to a corner of the room. I look over to see what she's looking at and its a girl about 15-16 standing in the corner with her hands over her mouth in shock and tears streaming down her face. "Whys she crying mom?" Mackenzie's beaming stare almost makes me feel bad for the girl if I didn't already know why she was crying. "She's a fan sweetie." I look back at the food bar and try and pretend I didn't see her, I feel bad but I'm here with my family and friends and when you acknowledge one all of a sudden 50 fans show up out of no where. Of course Mackenzie's not going to drop the subject so lightly. "How do you know she's a fan? Why would she be crying?" Mackenzie tugs at my pants again. "What do you want to eat? They have hotdogs? Or chicken nuggets?" "Mmmooommm, why is the girl crying." Mackenzie gets louder and I can't ignore her anymore. I kneel beside her to try and keep her as quiet as possible. I hate this, I really hate ignoring fans, I do but sometimes I just want to spend some time with my family and friends but Mackenzie doesn't understand that, all she knows is that someone is crying and she thinks I can fix it. "Listen hunny, mom just knows when someone's a fan okay and I don't want her to cry believe me, if I could I'd go over there and give her a big hug and make it all better but I also don't want to make you cry and if I go over there then I don't know how many other people will want to talk to me and I can't say hello to one person and ignore another, do you understand? I want to spend time with you and everyone else but if I go over there I could get stuck there for a very long time." Mackenzie's face drops like I've just ignored a homeless puppy. I stand back up and just as I go to turn and ask her what she wants I look down and she's gone! "Mackenzie!" I look around panicked and Markus points to the corner of the room. Little Miss sunshine has walked herself over to the corner, grabbed the girl by the hand and is walking her over to me. With the biggest grin on her face she states "mom I brought her to you so you don't have to go over there... And can I have some chicken nuggets please?" This kid impresses me more and more everyday. After I greet the girl and take a photo with her I grab Mackenzie and head back to our seats before the game starts. Later on when I'm tucking Mackenzie into bed I can't help but wonder why someone who went through some much hate could still have so much love in their heart. "Mackenzie, you remember that girl from earlier today? Why did you want to help her?" Mackenzie looks at me with a tired smile and says "because when I'm sad you make me feel better and I don't want anyone to feel sad especially if I know that you can make them feel better, didn't it make you feel better to see her smiling instead of crying?" She looks at me with a curious expression. "Yes it did, thank you Mackenzie. I love you" I kiss her goodnight night. "I love you too mom."

Lol cheesy ending but anyways keep your eyes peeled I am writing up the first chapter of the new Katy fanfic now and I'll post the name right here ➡️ breaking and entering ⬅️ when I've come up with it haha 😊
