Chapter 9

-Heidi's dream-

Kevin rests his left hand on my hip and laces his right hand with mine. I then rest my left hand on his shoulder and my hips sway slowly.

"You're a monster, nobody wants her, but me. So sharpen your teeth, makes it easier to bleed," Kevin sings, resting his forehead on mine and staring into my eyes. I blush heavily and smile at the sight of his soft eyes.

"I hope you know I love you, got a lot of friends six feet under us. Counting down the days till we join the party," I whisper, kissing him softly. Kevin smiles into the kiss, to then kiss back, hard.

"I really do love you though," I mumble,"do you love me?" Kevin laughs lightly. 

"What?"

"Heidi, I need you to do something for me,"

"Yeah?"

"I need you to wake up,"

"Wake up?"

"Yeah, Heidi, wake up, wake up,"

-End of dream-

"Heidi, wake up! Are you okay?!" a faint voice asks.

"Huh?" My voice cracks.

"Heidi, its Kevin," He breathes. My eyes open slowly to Kevin kneeling in front of me. He slides his arms under my legs and behind my back, lifting me and carrying me away from the tree.

I wake to the bright sunlight again. I roll over to Kevin smiling widely.

"Morning sunshine," he chuckles, climbing off the bed.

"What happened? Where are we?" I ask, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"Well, we were on our way home from a concert and drove past a pond. We saw you asleep next to a tree. I figured you and Seth might have gotten in a fight and broke up, so I got worried. I tried to wake you up, but you must have been gone because it was impossible. I picked you up, brought you onto the bus, and  we came home," Kevin laughs, glancing back toward the rooms ever so often.

"Why did you think we broke up?" I ask, taking the side of curiosity.

"Because maybe he got mad at you about the thing you told be about the other night. When you asked him to leave the room. maybe he got upset." Kevin runs a comb through his soft brown hair and turns on the TV. I stare at him, trying to remember his features. Soft and flawless. Charming and funny. Perfect height.

"Like what you see?" Kevin chuckles, not even breaking his eyes away from the mirror. 

"No! I was staring at your TV if you must know!" My cheeks burn  and I look away,"so where are the guys?"

"Going for a swim before we go to the studio. But just to put it out there, I think that the other night at the party was one of the best nights ever. I had a lot of fun with you, but I'd also like to get to know you a little more as a person," Kevin grins, blushing lightly.

"I had fun with you too Kevin, but what else would you want to know about a freak like me?" I reply.

"We can touch base with the more as a person thing, but right now, I want you to answer this one question, honestly," Kevin smiles faintly.

"Anything...well anything I feel comfortable saying," I grin.

"Do you, honestly, love Seth?"

Wow, sorry this took so long to update once again. school is killing me and I have like no time to ever update now. >.< I will try to make time more often.
