"You love her don't you?" Manny chuckles. I snap my head to him and my eyes pierce his skin.
"What are you talking about?! No, I don't. I mean I love her as a friend. Plus she's in a relationship, with Seth. And she still thinks about Adam a lot. I told her we'd be friends forever, anyway, why would she be interested," I mumble, looking to the floor sheepishly.
"Kevin, just admit it. Its love, I see the way you act towards each other. Why would you want to hide it from her, or us?"
"Because, its not! I' not going to admit something to myself that's not true. I don't want to get hurt or rejected," I retort.
"Kevin, look at Alik and Alli, Evan and Martha! The guys acted just as bad as you did, but they decided to grow some balls and now they have strong relationships!"
"And?"
"And if you just get off your ass and say something you could have something just as strong!" Manny's temper grows higher.
"I don't sit on my fucking ass all day! I'm always with you guys!"
"But when Heidi left last time you were so depressed, you stayed in your room for days!"
"Because she's my friend, of course I'm going to miss her," I protest.
"Oh really? You should've seen yourself, you seemed to miss her a lot,"
"Huh, more than I'll miss you because you're out of the band! Don't bother coming to the studio or any rehearsals, you know what?! Don't even bother coming to the apartment . We don't need you anyway!" I scream
"Are you fucking kidding me right now! You're kicking me out because of some girl you met on the street! Who said that's your choice!?"
"I'm the lead singer, so I lead the band and I'm kicking you out. Bye!"
"You know what? I honestly don't care anymore! Fuck you Kevin!!" Manny storms off with the last word. I rest my head on my knees, grasp my hair tightly and rest.
What just happened? I...just kicked our drummer. Is it because of Heidi. i don't know what it is about her that's getting to me. She's in my head and under my skin. But maybe Manny is right, maybe I just need to talk to her about this...to tell her..I-
