A/N: I got a question about requests recently and I figured I should let everyone know that one shot requests are always open!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the past month I've been meeting Tadashi at his place every Friday night to study and do homework together. Despite doing actual work, we have fun hanging out together. And unlike any of the other crushes I've had I don't get tongue-tied around Tadashi. He's just so easy to talk to. I can get through our study sessions without stuttering, even if I think about being his girlfriend half the time and smile a bit whenever he does something cute.
"Hi (y/n)!" Cass calls from across the room as I enter the Lucky Cat Café.
I smile back at her. "Hi Cass."
"Tadashi is already up in the living room getting ready, and I just finished making these." She hands a plate of spicy chicken wings to me.
"My favorite! Thank you so much Cass!"
"Anytime, hon."
I grab the plate and run up the stairs with my backpack. Maybe I can get Tadashi to date me in exchange for his aunt's wings.
When I get to the top of the stairs, Tadashi is laying down on the couch reading a comic book. A stack of blank papers, a few textbooks, and a laptop occupy the table. A whiteboard is set up with an eraser and two different color markers. One of them is the (fav/color) marker I always use.
Tadashi puts down his comic and grins at me. "Hey, it's my favorite study buddy."
"And I brought up the wings!"
"You just got even cooler." Tadashi reaches out his arm for me to hand him the plate of wings.
"There's no room on the couch! Feet up, and then chicken."
Tadashi sits up, doing a cute little laugh. "Sorry, (y/n)." I set the food down on the table in front of us and we both pick at the plate.
"Okay first question." I say looking at the open text book. "A mobile bot has a volume of 125 square centimeters and moves at a speed of 1.5 kilometers per hour. How far could it travel with a lithium ion battery?"
"2.3 kilometers." The boy answers almost instantly.
"What? You didn't even do it out, there's no way you know that."
Tadashi shrugs. "Maybe I'm just a genius."
I clean my fingers on a napkin and get up from the couch. "Okay, it's whiteboard time." I used my marker to write the problem and draw out a diagram. Tadashi got up from the couch but only stood next to me, observing. "Are you going to help me out, Hamada?"
"Oh I'm sorry," he said as if he had zoned out. "You're cute when you're focused." I felt heat rising to my cheeks. I reached over to grab Tadashi's marker and placed it in his hand, not daring to look at his face and let him see how red I am. "I'll race you." Tadashi offers. I smile.
"You're on."
I begin writing as fast as I can, thinking of what equation I need to use, how I can find the answer. Faster, faster. I run out of space and start writing closed to Tadashi.
"Don't take up any of my space!"
"I'm not."
"Don't look at my, either!"
"Like I need to." I push him away playfully with my shoulder and laugh.
Just need to copy my equation. Variable by itself. Almost there I just have to-
"I've got it!" Tadashi moves his hand to the middle of the board, about to copy his answer in the victory spot.
"No! But I just got it look!" I move his hand out of the way and try to write the answer myself. Some might say our competitive spirits have gone too far at this point. We continue to move each other's hands away from the board. It doesn't take him too long to grab my marker from my hand and hold it above his head.
"Hey! That's just cheating." I reach as high as I can, but he's still too tall.
Suddenly, without any warning, Tadashi drops both markers. They fall to the floor as he grabs my hands. The boy leans down to kiss me, slowly and sweetly. I interlock my fingers with his and kiss him back.
"We are very bad study partners." I smile at him, just inches from my face.
"Absolutely horrible." He smiles and kisses me again.
