I came to the park thinking "Oh I'm going to just take a nice stroll to get my mind off of this whole Ladybug deal." Yeah. Sure. I got my mind off of that. But now, I've got my mind on something else; Adrien Agreste.
My initial reaction was that it should be ILLEGAL to have full scale photo shoots in such a public place. It's kind of hard to just relax when you have someone screaming from the other side of the park: "Lovely angle! Work! Fantastic!"
But that's besides the point. I sat down anyways, because it was actually pretty amusing to just watch the camera man shout at that poor kid modeling. But dang, I really thought he was cute. I even think he shot me a smile. (But I could be wrong.) Sorry, I'm way in over my head...
A girl with brown hair pranced up to me wearing a romper, a weird hairstyle, and a stupid smile screaming, "hey look at me, I'm fake, but a lot of people like me anyways" a few moments after I sat down. I could tell from the beginning that I wouldn't like her, but I knew there would be people a lot worse.
(Possibly foreshadowing?*cough cough* Chloe^)
"Hi, I'm Lila, she said. Hey, are you new? I just moved here too. From Italy, but I should be at this shoot too. The actors in Hollywood always want me to model for th-"
"-Oh hey my names (y/n)," I interrupted without a regret. (People like this can literally go on forever. ) "Nice to meet you. I'm working at a bakery this summer, because there's this girl who usually helps out there named Marinette who'll be gone for a while. By the way, do you know who that kid is by any chance?" I ask, pointing at who I didn't know was Adrien at the time. I really wasn't in the mood to tell her my life story.
"Oh him? That's Adrien. He's in my class. Me and him are like this," she said, fingers crossed as an indication of their closeness. Although, I was pretty skeptical as to whether to actually believe her or not. "You know Marinette? She's really cool isn't she? Unlike that skank Ladybug."
"Ladybug? You don't like her?"
"Long story."
That was surprising. She really did look like the type to love telling long stories, if you know what I mean.
After my little embarking with Lila (that ended rather quickly) I think that the shoot ended, because everyone seemed to be packing up.
Not actually sure whether they were really friends or not, Adrien went up to say hi to Lila anyways. I guess he's just a really nice guy like that. He seemed sort of out of place with the adults anyways. Even though he was modeling, he almost looked unhappy.
"Hi Lila, how are you? Is this one of your friends from Italy?" Adrien asked once he came up to us.
"No. But this is (y/n), she's going to work at the Dupain Cheng bakery. You know, for Marinette," she said shrugging towards me.
"Nice to meet you." He said to me with a charming smile, (and I mean REALLLY charming). Pretty basic first words to say to someone though... But you know what else was pretty? His face.
"The pleasure's mine. So you model then? Hobby?"
He laughed nervously. Of course it wasn't a hobby. I was so stupid to ask.
"Not really. My dad's a fashion designer. So I'm kind of obligated to do this kind of stuff. I guess you could say it runs in the family (y/n)."
Then, suddenly, this random blond girl dressed all in yellow like a banana popped up out of literally nowhere. Let me say that again. Literally NOWHERE. She looked fresh from a mean girls movie. And had a lackey with orange hair and an outfit just as preppy as hers right next to her.
