Chapter 11- Zombie Tag

Ella gripped the gun as she made her way through the dark. The battle had been going on for hours and she hasn't been hit once. Just as she ducked behind the couch a noise made her point her gun into the darkness. The noise got louder and louder. Soon, Ella realized those noises where heavy footsteps.

The footsteps were right by her when she jumped up and pressed the trigger. "Die!" The neon light blinked before her as Quincey gave a fake gasped and fell on the couch. "You got me!"

Ella smiled and threw the laser gun over her shoulder. "One down, three to go." She crept around in the dark, ducking and rolling behind furniture. Just as she hid behind the door, someone shuffled into the room armed. Ella lifted the gun up just as Iggy spun around pointing his gun at Ella. "Looks like its a draw."

She grinned and said, "I think not." She turned her gun shooting a mirror causing the laser to bounce off and hit Iggy's vest. He clenched his chest and fell down. "Ack! I'm down! Man down!"

Ella grinned and said, "now where's Jasper?" She walked down the hallway lined with sewer pipes keeping her gun close. "Freeze!" A voice called out. Ella spun around to come face to face with Jasper. He grinned and pointed his gun at her. "Guess this is over for you, Ella."

She sighed and lifted her hands just as Jasper rested his finger on the trigger. Just as he clicked the trigger Ella ducked and rolled on the ground then shooting his vest. It lit up sending him to the ground. "You win!" Ella stood up and said, "now were my good old enemy."

Ella walked into her new home pointing her gun forward. "Come out, come out, wherever you are, Axe!" She grinned. The door slowly closed causing a creepy squeezing to send chills up her spine.

She spun around as a cool breeze passed her. Ella gulped and squeezed the handle on her laser gun. "Wh- Who's there?" Another gust of wind kissed her face. "I- I'm warning you! I'm armed!"

Just as Ella turned around she was nose to nose with Axe. He pointed his gun at her chest and slowly moaned, "bang. You dead." Ella's vest glowed green as she gasped and fell to the ground. "Your the master! I surrender!"

Axe gave a small smile and sat his gun down. Ella, Jasper, Quincey and Iggy stood up laughing. "That was awesome!" Jasper grinned. Iggy turned in the lights and said, "Axe has been the Zombie Tag master forever."

They all turned to Axe and gave them all the creepy stare. "Yup. I almost thought you were going to beat him" Quincey smiled while putting his arm around him.

Ella giggled and said, "he's really sneaky." Axe just stared in reply.

They all moves to the couch where Iggy tried to turn on the television set. It wouldn't work though. He groaned and slap the top of the device when Ella said, "maybe I can get it to work."

She walked over to him and sat her hands on the wires then serge with all the magic she could. Immediately the television lit up racing from channel to channel. Ella gasped and let go of the wires.

"Whoa! We got like a dozen more channels" Quincey grinned. Ella stepped back and frowned. "What's wrong" Iggy asked. Ella looked down her hands and shook her head. "My maid is way powerful! This isn't normal."

"Maybe Zombie Tag got you charged up" Jasper replied. Ella smiled and said, "probably." Iggy sat down with Ella the continued to watch television with them.

Just then a commercial for Halloween came on. Ella frowned and said, "what do you guys do for Halloween?" Jasper smiled and said, "well usually most zombies come back to life on Halloween so there's usually a big zombie powwow we go to. It's pretty fun."

Ella smiled and said, "oh! That sounds cool!" Quincey sat up and said, "you should come with us is year!" Ella frowned and said, "I'm not a zombie though."

Jasper smiled and said, "we can work something up." Ella cocked her eyebrow knowing he was planning another idea. She sighed and smiled at him. "Well, okay."

3 weeks later.

Ella sat her hands on her hips as she glanced at the messy room. Jasper and his brothers left to go find food for Ella.

"This place is very messy." She frowned. "Maybe I could clean it up."

And that's how Ella got to magically cleaning the place. She swiped, dusted and wiped the dirt everywhere. By the time she was done Jasper and his brothers had come back home.

Just as they opened the door Ella was sweeping a pile off dirt into a pan when she gasped and hid her head behind the broom.

The brothers gawked and looked around the clean room. "I cleaned up. I- if you don't like it I can put it back how it was." Ella stuttered.

Jasper gulped and said, "wow. This place looks amazing!" Ella smiled and said, "really? It's okay?"

All of the brothers nodded. "Yep. It's awesome." Ella blushed when Jasper said, "so Halloweens tomorrow. Are you ready for a makeover?"

Ella didn't like where this was heading.
