Chapter 12- Zombie Makeover

Ella stood in the tiny kitchen stirring a bowl of Rice Krispe treats she'd made. As she added some sugar Jasper and his brothers shuffled into the room curious about what she was making.

"Which ya making?" Jasper asked walking over to her. "I'm making some Rice Krispe for you guys to celebrate Halloween" Ella smiled. Imminently all four of the shuffled over to her trying to sneak bites of the treat.

Ella giggled and hugged the bowl. "Hey! It's not done yet! You have to wait till its done!" The brothers smiled as Ella stepped away from her.

Jasper smiled then said, "so ready for tonight's makeover?" Ella shifted nervously. "I dunno." Quincey grinned and put his hand on her back. "Don't worry you'll look great!"

Ella smiled and said, "okay! Just let me finish these treat."

Ella frowned at the green potion she held in her hands. Slowly, she gulped it down with a following scowl. Her skin began to turn a pale green, which is why she made the potion in the first place.

Jasper sat her down in the counter as he pulled out makeup from a bag. "Okay. Now let's turn you into a zombie!" Ella nodded as him and his brothers started covering her face with made up.

Jasper put dark circles around Ella's eyes with some dark grease he found while Quincey put her black hair up into a pony tail. Iggy frowned and picked up Ella's glasses then said, "do you need these?"

Ella nodded. "Yeah. My eye sights pretty bad." Jasper smiled and pulled out a small container from his bag. "That's why I got these. There magic contacts that adjust to your eyesight. And they make your eyes look zombified ."

He took the contacts out and put them on Ella making her eyes yellow. Iggy tied a ripped bow tie in the back of her hair just as Axe walked into the room carrying a ripped dress that looked liked it got dragged through the mud. Axe handed the dress to Ella.

"What's this" she frowned. "It's for you to wear. It'll give you a zombie look" Jasper explained. Ella shrugged and left to the other room to put it on.

Ella finished dressing herself and walked back to Jasper and his brothers. They looked like they were blinded by her cuteness. Ella had on a little dress that had tears and scorches on it. Her skin was a pale green and her eyes had large dark circles that surrounded her yellow eyes. And her hair had a few leaves in it and her pony tail was messy and frizzed a little bit.

"Your the cutest dead thing I've ever seen since that squirrel I ate yesterday" Quincey smiled. Ella blushed when Iggy stepped in front of her and said, "so here are the rules. No taking human language. Only Zombish." Ella nodded when Jasper walked over to them.

"All we have to do is get rid of your human scent." Jasper frowned. Quincey smiled and walked over to Ella and hugged her. "What are you doing" Jasper frowned. "Rubbing my scent off onto her."

Jasper grinned and hugged Ella too. "This is getting awkward." Iggy sighed. They released Ella and smiled. "We'll guess we're reading to party!" Quincey grinned. Ella nodded when a loud crumpled echoed above them.

"What's that noise" Ella gasped. Jasper frowned and groaned, "the dead is coming back to life." Ella flinched as Jasper grabbed her hand. "Don't worry. It's gonna be fine."

Ella nodded when Quincey said, "alright! Let's go join the party!"
