"Dale could-- could get under your skin. He sure got under mine, because he wasn't afraid to say exactly what he thought, how he felt. That kind of honesty is rare and brave." Rick starts of Dale's memorial, the rest of the group standing around his grave listening.
"Whenever I'd make a decision, I'd look at Dale. He'd be looking back at me with that look he had. We've all seen it one time or another. I couldn't always read him, but he could read us. He saw people for who they were.
He knew things about us-- The truth... Who we really are. In the end, he was talking about losing our humanity. He said this group was broken. The best way to honor him is to unbreak it. Set aside our differences and pull together, stop feeling sorry for ourselves and take control of our lives... Our safety... ...our future. We're not broken. We're gonna prove him wrong. From now on... We're gonna do it his way. That is how we honor Dale."
After Rick's speech and a few words from the others including April, the group soon departs the makeshift grave before they start to haul their stuff into the Greene's house.
Since it was decided that it was too unsafe to camp outside, Hershel had allowed the group to stay inside the house instead.
"Mom that's too heavy, let me carry it." April calls out to her mother before she grabs a large box out of her hands.
"Thanks honey." Lori smiles at her daughter before April gives her a small smile back. The girl was about to head back into the house but Lori grabs her by the arm, quickly stopping her.
"Hey April wait-." Lori starts off making April turn to face her mother. "Look I just wanted to say sorry about the whole Shane thing-"
At her mother's apology, the girl quickly cuts her off. "No mom it's okay. I'm over it. And besides I should be the one apologising. I was a bitch and I shouldn't off ran off like I did. So I'm sorry." April apologises.
"Thank you sweetheart." Lori states before she brings her daughter into a hug. "You're still in trouble for what you did though."
"Ugh seriously." April groans when she starts walking back to the house, making Lori laugh at her.
Once the girl sets the huge box inside the house she goes back outside to get the rest of the stuff, passing Hershel whilst she did.
"So any house rules?" T-Dog asks Hershel.
"Nope, my house is now your guy's home too. All I can say is don't go into Axel's room and you'll be fine." Hershel comments before the rest of the group laughs.
"However I'm sure he'll allow April." Beth grins, making April widen her eyes.
"Yeah that's not happening. April you'll be staying downstairs with us." Lori instructs before she rifles through a few more boxes.
