The next morning, April woke up with the biggest smile on her face.
The girl hadn't had a good night sleep since herself and her family had left their house a few months ago.

However April's newfound smile turned into a blush when she reminisced last night's events.

The girl looked over to see that Sage had already left and that she had left a note to say that she had gone down to get some breakfast.

Getting up from the bed, April walked over to the shower and began to prep herself for the day.

April didn't know how many more times she was going to be allowed the luxury to have a decent shower, so she didn't want to waste the opportunity that she had right now.

A few minutes drifted apart until April was done with her shower and the girl started to get dressed for the day, changing into an old tank top with a pair of jeans as it was still seething hot in Atlanta.

After she was done changing and brushing last night's knots out of her hair, April made her way out the the room and walked to where everyone was eating breakfast, upon arriving she found that she was the last one to wake up.

"Hey look, there's sleeping beauty." Rick stated in a groggy voice as April made her way over to everyone, blushing whilst she did as everyone laughed tiredly at the comment.

April kissed both her parents cheeks before ruffling Carl's hair making him groan in response.

April laughed before she made her way over to the table to serve herself up some breakfast but got beaten to it when Axel handed her a bowl of something.

"Powdered eggs?" He asked, giving the girl a slight grin.

"Mmm my favourite. Thank you." The girl stated, before blushing again. The memories of last night still fresh in her mind.

April took the bowl from Axel and smiled in appreciation before she made her way over to Sage and sat down beside the girl.
Sage giving a knowing look once she did as she glanced between the couple, April only rolling her eyes at her friend's questioning stare.

Once April started eating the eggs that Axel had kindly got for her, Dale started to ask questions to Jenner. April only sighed, knowing that it would be a long day.

After the group had finished eating and clearing up their mess, everyone followed Jenner to the lab to allow him to answer their longing questions.
April laughing at Glenn being hungover whilst they did as the guy stated that it was too early for this.

Once the group reached their destination, Jenner began to show them a playback of a test subject they were researching on.

April had slightly shuddered as Jenner began to explain what the playback was. Upon noticing her daughters discomfort, Lori put a hand on her shoulder.
