Ch.31: Saying Goodbye is Hard

~Liam~

I was just lying in the hospital bed while our little girl wrapped her little fingers around mine. I couldn’t help but smile and I noticed that Zayn was fast asleep. I heard a knock on the door and I knew that it was Zayn’s family. I waved them in. His mom walked in first and smiled big at me. “What’s my granddaughter name” His mom asked me and I looked down before looking up at Zayn. “Albany Iris Aurora Malik” I answered her with the biggest smile. “She’s so beautiful Liam” Trisha told me and I couldn’t contain my smile on my face. “Yeah she’s perfect Li” Doniya told me and I just looked at my daughter who was asleep. “Would you guys like to hold her” I asked the Malik’s family which got me earned nods especially from Zayn’s two little sisters. I passed Albany to Safaa and Waliyha gently and they looked at Zayn and mine daughter. I noticed Zayn was up and his hands were on my stomach and he kissed my forehead. “She’s so small” Safaa said and I nodded. “Yes she is she’s a little early on her due date” Zayn informed them with a small smile. I couldn’t help grabbing his hand. “The doctor said that she is developing quite well for being 2 months earlier but they say by the end of the month she could go home maybe” Zayn told Trisha and his sisters. “Who’s going to be the godparents” Trisha asked me and Zayn and to be honest we haven’t thought about it at all. We were just consumed over the fact that we just had a beautiful and it was never brought up between Zayn and me. “We really don’t know yet Mrs. Malik” I said to her while shrugging my shoulders. I felt myself yawned. I covered my mouth and Zayn kissed my forehead. “Well it seems that you Liam needs more rest and call me Trisha from now on” Mrs. Malik told me and I nodded my head. She handed our baby girl to Zayn who had the biggest smile on his face. Ever since Albany came into this world Zayn’s pretty much had this glow on his face. “I’ll see you guys later” Trisha kissed Zayn on the cheek and she kissed my cheek. It was just me and Zayn in the hospital and I yawned once again. I covered my mouth. “Babe just go to sleep you must be so tired” Zayn told me and I nodded. My eyes started to close and I fell asleep.

Here I was holding my precious little beautiful daughter. I never thought I would feel this way about this kid. The thought of me having to leave tears my heart apart but also leaving the love of my life tears my heart apart also. I hold her and she did have the most amazing eyes. “You know baby girl I will always love you no matter where I am and I want you to know that. I won’t ever leave you in your heart” I told her while she wrapped her little fingers around mine. “Daddy will always be around in your heart and I really don’t want to leave you and daddy but I have to sweetheart, I promise I will always come back” I promised my little angle who was asleep with her mouth opened. She was drooling normally I hated people who drool but when she did it was the cutest thing ever. I looked back at Liam and he’s mouth was opened but no drool. In an instant I realized she does take after Liam every good possible way. The nurse came and said they had to take her back into the room with all the other babies. I walked outside of Liam’s hospital room and I saw Haz, Louis, Niall along with 3 months pregnant Cora. I saw a little boy that happened to be Harry holding his hand. It was no way to deny that little was or is the cutest little kid ever. I squatted down to the little boy and he hid his face behind Harry’s leg. I laughed and Harry looked at me weirdly. “Well I can tell your son personality isn’t like you which means he’s not going to flirt with everybody” I told him with a smirk. “Hey I was drunk so how’s our niece doing” Louis asked me and I just smiled bigger than ever. “She’s doing great if you guys want to see her she’s in the nursery” I pointed over there. I could tell Harry wanted to see Albany really bad but he couldn’t go in there with Christian that wasn’t allowed. “Hey Haz I can watch Christian if you want to go in there” I informed him and he bent down to Christian level and whispered some things in his son ears. “Thanks Z” He told me and I nodded. I put my hand out for Christian to grab it and he put his hand into mine and I felt myself smile and Christian smile big up at me. I could see not all of his teeth had come in and I could definitely see Erin and Harry in this kid. It was an equal mix of the two. I was standing outside the window watching Louis, Cora, Niall, and Haz cooing over mine and Liam’s baby girl. I felt a tug at my pants. I looked down and saw Christian smiling at me. “I want to see” Christian told me and I picked him up and he pointed at Harry. “Dadda” Christian told me and I nodded. Harry waved at his son. “This where they keep all the babies with problems” I told the 1 year old boy. “Problems” Christian asked me. “Yes difficult breathing and other things” I said to the 1 year old boy. “When I grow up I want to save lives” Christian told me with the biggest smile on his face. I just nodded at that statement. It was so cute.

Meanwhile in the Nursery Room:

“She’s really beautiful” Louis stated to Cora and Harry. “Of course she is she has Zayn and Liam genetics it runs in the family” Haz told them and automatically Cora and Louis looked at Harry weirdly. “What it’s nothing wrong to think your best friends is attractive and that does not make remotely gay thinking that” Haz told them when he saw Louis smirk coming onto his face. “I just want to kidnap her” Louis stated while crossing his arms. “Don’t worry babe we’ll have our own kid one day we can adopt and everything” Niall put his arm around Louis. Louis gave a big smile and continues staring at Albany. “I can’t wait” Haz said after a couple minutes of silence and staring at Albany. “”Wait for what” Cora asked Haz and Haz just gave him the biggest smile on his face. “to be a dad yet again” Harry said while waving at Christian that was on the other side of the window with Zayn. Cora gave him a big smile on her face. Cora already had a baby bump that was bigger than Liam was only because she was carrying twins. 

The Next Day

~Zayn~

“I can’t do it Liam, I’m not going” I stated to him while shaking my head and pacing back and forth. “Z, I’m going to be just fine and plus remember you signed up you can’t ditch just because of Albany and me” Liam informed with a small smile. “Gosh, I love you Liam James Payne so much” I whispered to him before kissing him on the lips before saying goodbye to everyone. My ride was here. I hugged Cora telling her to keep me updated with the kids. I was about to get in the car when lil Christian came rushing up to me. He hugged my legs. “Please don’t go” Christian told me and I squatted down. “I wish I could stay bud but I can’t but I’ll tell you what when I get back I’ll take you anywhere” I told him and he hugged and I hugged the little boy. Harry picked up his son and hugged me. “Good luck Zayn” He whispered in my ear and off I was going to arrive at my destination. I saw Christian, he had tears along his cheeks and boy did I miss everyone already.
