Ch.21: Unknown+Decisions=Confused

3 Months Later

~Zayn~

It’s been two months since Liam was in the hospital with that fever and now he’s 5 months pregnant and today we get to find out the sex of the baby. I’m still located at Harry’s and so is Doniya. Doniya and my mom got into a fight about me. Doniya was defending me. My mom is now; keep calling Doniya and me as well. I want absolutely nothing to do with her. I would hope that she would get that point that we don’t exactly like her at this moment. I looked at my phone; it was a phone call from Liam. “Hey Liam, yeah I’m coming over right now” I grabbed my car keys and closed Harry’s door. It seems that Harry’s been hanging out a lot with Cora now since its official and I don’t even see Louis and Niall that much because they hanging out a lot too. Louis busy with rehearsing for Grease as well and since Niall works backstage that’s all they been doing. I picked up Liam’s house and I saw Cora and Harry outside. I waved at both of them. Cora gave me a winked and so did Harry. I laughed at that. They totally belong together; they are so alike in so many ways. Liam went into my car and I smiled big at Liam. Liam didn’t have small bump but instead a big bump. As soon as we went to the hospital, I helped Liam get up from the car. We walked into the waiting room till they called us into the room. The nurse smiled at us the same one that replaced Liam’s wet cloth when he had a fever. Her name is Phoebe. Phoebe put the gel on Liam’s stomach and I grabbed Liam’s hand. “Okay you guys want to know the sex of the baby” Phoebe asked us while moving it around to show us the baby. Liam and I nodded at the same time. “Well it looks like it’s a girl, Congrats Liam and Zayn you guys are having a girl” Phoebe told us with the biggest smile. Liam covered his mouth and tears fell down his face. “I really believe that this girl will look good with two good looking parents” Phoebe commented while giving us a wink and I just couldn’t help but laugh at that comment and so did Liam. I helped Liam off the table. “Hey Liam, are you excited” I asked him and I drove us over to Liam’s house.  I parked my car and Liam looked at me confused. I smiled at him. I helped him get out of the car yet again. I opened Cora’s front door and when I saw two girls that somewhat looked like Liam. I knew that was Ruth and Nicola Liam’s older sister. I looked over at Liam’s face; it was filled with shock and happiness I could tell. Liam rushed to Nicola and Ruth and hugged both of them tight. Ruth and Nicola took turns rubbing Liam’s stomach while Liam was sitting down on the couch. “You must be Zayn Malik” Nicola asked me and I nodded in response. “I heard so many things from Cora” Nicola told me and I smiled a little bit. “I hope good things” I responded with a cheeky wink. “Of course, one of them being hot and the fact you helping my little bro means a lot to me” Nicola smiled at me before pulling me into a hug and I looked confused. “Sorry about Nicola she’s a hugger” Ruth explained to me and I nodded in response. “Then you should meet Louis he is so much of hugger” I said to Nicola and she just smiled. “He’s worse than you” Liam chipped in and I rolled my eyes. “No, he isn’t that bad if you ask me” I told him while sitting next to Liam while wrapping my arms around him. Liam smiled at me and I looked over at Harry and Cora, Cora was located on Harry’s lap. They were practically in their own world. I smiled at Harry and he smiled back at me. I was so happy for him to find his perfect match. Cora made Harry really happy and even though I know he loves her, he wouldn’t admit to anyone but I think everybody knows. It obvious, that both of them love each other. Whenever I’m hanging out with Harry, he just continuously talks about Cora and it gets on my nerves. Liam put his head on my shoulder. I sighed and begin to change the TV channel.

“Hey Z, can you get me some popcorn with chocolate” Liam smiled big at me and I nodded. I got up while picking up my car keys. “I’ll come with” Harry exclaimed to me before even I had a response and I nodded. We both went into my car Harry in the passenger seat and me driving of course. “So I need your help Zayn” Harry told me and I nodded to him. “Okay go ahead and tell me” I responded with a small smile. “I really like Cora I was thinking of a promise ring” Harry looked down at me. “Why do you need my help” I asked him once again. “I need to make it a good thing, we have a date in about a week and I want to make it special” Harry told me before giving me a big smile. “I want you to sing while we on the date” Harry gave me the biggest cheesiest smile ever. I just shook my head before going into the store to get chocolate and popcorn. “You know I don’t sing” I told him while I took out money to pay for the popcorn and chocolate. I got into the car along with Harry. “Come on I’m begging you Zayn” Harry pouted at me. “What about Niall or Louis” I said to him while beginning to drive to Liam’s home. “I can’t they too busy” Harry gave me puppy dog eyes and I sighed and nodded. “Fine I’ll do it” I said finally and Harry smiled and he looked down at the envelope that has been in my car forever. Harry picked it up and started reading it. “You signed up for the navy and you got accepted” Harry exclaimed to me. “What you going to tell Liam and what about your daughter” Harry continued. “I signed up before I even knew Liam for your information and I can’t get out now” I told Harry and sighed. “I need to do this and I was hoping you would be on my side” I continued while rubbing my forehead. “Okay I’m sorry Zayn but when you going to Liam” Harry asked me. “After the baby” I answered him and the rest of car ride was quiet.

When I opened the front door and I saw Ruth and Nicola, I felt so happy. Even though I should be mad at them for leaving when mom died I was happy to see them again especially when I’m pregnant it was nice that Zayn did this for me. Zayn has been so good to me and I just was really hoping Zayn would keep his promise. I know Zayn’s a good guy but even good guys can leave. I was laying down waiting for Zayn to come back home with my food. I rubbed my stomach and I felt my face turn into a smile. “Guys come over here” I waved Ruth, Nicola, and Cora to come over to me. “The baby just kicked” I said tears falling down. Each of them put their hand on my stomach and they rubbed my stomach. The baby kicked hard I might add. I can’t wait to tell Zayn that the baby kicked. I heard the doorbell ringed and I knew it wasn’t Louis, Harry, Zayn, or even Niall because usually they have a key to come in if they want. I was about to get up. “Relax bro, we got the door” Nicola told me and all three of them went to the door. I grabbed a blanket and got up from the couch and I saw someone I didn’t expect to see. “Liam, how are you” He asked me and I shook my head. “What are you doing here” I asked him. “Liam I changed I got help” He explained and for the first time I noticed how cleaned up he looked. “Dad” I said to him. “Hey, Liam I realized what I did to you was completely wrong and I am so sorry please forgive me” My dad said while looking at me and I realized his eyes were red and puffy. I just sighed. I had no idea what to say to that. “Liam we told you to sit down and relaxed” Nicola commanded me and I nodded but I kept looking at the man who loved me but caused me so much pain. So now what do I do forgive or not. I never have been so confused in my life. Welcome to the life of Liam James Payne.
