Ch.34: Letters/Pain/Guests

I was hanging out in the Josh Devine’s room you know the guy I was talking to when I and Tony got into an argument. Josh and I were getting to be great friends and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Josh had his own room no roommate and I thought about changing my room but I knew the Navy wouldn’t change my rooming situation just because Tony’s is my ex. “So you never told me your daughter’s name” Josh exclaimed to me and I just shrugged at him. “You never told me your son’s name” I gave him a smirk on my face. A knock at Josh’s door and Josh answered it. It was the messenger at our door. “Hey Josh and Zayn, I got mail for both of you” Lance stated to him. Josh nodded and I said bye to Lance with a smile. Everybody knows for the most part I’m always hanging out with Josh in his room and not my room. I saw Liam’s handwriting and address and I practically ripped the mail open. A huge smile came on my face and there was no way to deny I was excited, my first letter, from Liam, in respond to my first. I love Liam to pieces and I miss him terribly.

Dear Zayn: Letter 1:

You told me we should write the number of letter we write to each other is. So here’s my letter 1. I have been so busy these past few days. I was the valedictorian for our graduation and my speech went quite well. Louis was the salutatorian and his speech was absolutely funny he just pointed out the flaws of the school including lunch food and the building itself and he basically he will be visiting. I’m pretty sure that when he said the teachers totally became worried. Let’s face it Zayn Louis Tomlinson was a troubled student. Zayn you should have seen Christian he was pretty cute in his black suit. Harry sure is teaching that kid some style. Well, styles, is his last name so wouldn’t be totally shocking at all in my mind at least. Anyway Zayn Louis going to New York and Niall well he going to Ireland and Harry is going to California. Zayn I really do wish you were here, what am I supposed to do when everybody’s going away. I wonder can long distances work for Cora and Harry or even Louis or Niall. They have been arguing maybe not around me but Zayn I can sense the tension between those two couples. They say it’s none of my business that I should stay out of it but I can’t Zayn. I really do need you, Zayn. I miss your smile, your bedhead, your arms that were always around me, your comforting words I always wanted and need in this moment but I’m probably being selfish and you being in the navy trying to save lives. So Zayn just remember no matter what you will always be in my life and I will always love you no matter what.

I smiled at the picture Christian and Albany are going to be great friends and I looked over to Josh he had a big smile probably similar to mine. “Hey Josh my daughter’s name is Albany Iris Aurora Malik” I informed him. “My son name is Devin Gus Devine” Josh said and handed me a picture of his son and I gave him my picture. “The boy in the picture is Christian one of my best friends’ son” I told him. “They both adorable” Josh told me and I nodded.  “You want to get some lunch” I said to him and Josh nodded quickly. “Yeah definitely I’m starving” Josh quickly got up rushing to door and I couldn’t help roll my eyes. “You know Josh I have a best friend back at home I think you would definitely get along” I informed him. “Really” Josh raised one eyebrow up. “Yeah you love food maybe a little bit much and not to mention obsessed with Nandos” I rambled on and Josh smiled big, “Really, Nandos are amazing and you can’t deny that” Josh said while grabbing some lunch and I bumped into someone. When I looked up at the person face I immediately regretted it. “Hey Z-man” Tony said with the most creepy look in my opinion. “Don’t call me that” I said to him and Tony grabbed my arm. “Let me go Tony” I said to him harshly. Tony just grabbed me tight and I moaned in pain. “LET HIM GO TONY” Josh shouted at Tony and took off Tony’s hand off my arm. “This isn’t over Z-man” Tony walked away from me and Josh. I rubbed my arm in pain. There was a bruise forming on my arm. “Are you okay” Josh asked me and it all seemed like dejavu. I nodded. “What’s up with you and Tony” Josh asked me and I shook my head. "He’s my ex that’s all” I told him. I didn’t know Josh that well to be explaining about what exactly happened to Tony and I’s relationship heck I didn’t even  tell Louis, Harry or  Niall or even Liam. I wasn’t to go back in the past between our Tony and I relationship. If I start talking about it I might eventually breakdown and I can’t and I won’t not while I’m here in the navy. It will show weakness. We were in the cafeteria and Lance came running in and he was panting hard I must say. “Zayn there’s another letter for you I believe it could be from your mom” Lance told me with the biggest smile. He handed me the letter and I slowly grabbed it from his hand. I stared at the envelope and I felt my heart break. I slowly opened the letter.

Dear My Little Boy:

I’m so sorry to write this to you but I want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am of you. You are going to be the best dad in the whole wide world. I am so glad I got to see my grandchild from you at least once in my life. Zayn I am battling cancer and I feel I should tell you this. Right as I am writing and you reading this letter I am in chemotherapy but I’m not alone I have your wonderful boyfriend with me and we talk and he bring my little granddaughter. Hopefully I can win this battle with your support Zayn. Zayn Liam is a keeper, don’t let him get away. He loves you more than life you know and you love him. I can tell you want another child maybe not now. Liam talks to me about his future and always in his future plans Zayn. This chemotherapy has a very low chance of getting rid of this cancer but I’m going to fight for you, for Albany for everyone in my life but don’t get your hope up. I Love you my baby boy.

I put down the letter and my hands were shaking while took out a picture of my mom holding Albany in her hands and in the picture was Liam smiling a little bit. I pushed my food away and sighed.

Its must have been a few days when Louis totally ignore me after I said it was a dumb idea to go to New York, I didn’t mean to insult but I was trying to be honest with him. I sighed and I heard the doorbell and I rushed downstairs to see some guy. As I was staring at the guy, I realized it was my best friend that happened to be famous. “Hey Justin what are you doing here” I exclaimed to him while hugging him. “Oh nothing just thought I visit some friends in London” Justin told me and I was so glad about that he decided to visit me. It had to been forever since I last seen or talked to him. “So Ni, are you going to let me or just make stand in this cold weather” Justin asked me and I let him inside my house. “So I heard you just graduated a few days ago congrats” Justin said to me while jumping onto my sofa. I heard the doorbell rang and I answered it immediately to see Louis with tears. “I don’t want you to be mad at me” Louis looked at me with such a sad face. “Louis I’m sorry I was an ass, we can make long distance work just look at Liam and Zayn” I told him while wiping his tears away.  “Come on I have someone who I want you to meet” I grabbed Louis hand and I saw Justin drinking some coke. “Hey Justin this Louis my boyfriend” I announced to Justin and Justin smiled. “Nice to meet you Louis” Justin said to Louis and Louis smiled at him. I had a feeling that Justin was quite different then the last time I saw him. “What you doing wearing shades in my house you know how my parents are” I asked him and Justin just shrugged his shoulders. I took off his shades to see his eyes bloodshot red and I knew he was drinking heavily. It was the morning and he was already drinking. “So Justin how long you going to be here” I asked him. “Till the summer is over” Justin responded with a smirk on his face. “So when I go to University in Ireland”
