"Hakeem? HAKEEM??! Has anyone seen Hakeem?" Cookie questioned loudly. She hadn't meant for him to see that and right now, if she didn't find him, all HELL was gonna break lose. She spotted Andre on his phone, leaning against their office door and ran frantically to him. "Hey baby, um, where's yo brother, Hakeem?" Andre ended the call and looked back and forth between his mother and his father, trying to read their eyes. He knew that his mother hadn't been to the office an about a week so... For her to be here, meant something HAD to have happened! "Is everything okay? Did something happen to Anika?" He hurriedly inquired. "No, no baby! We- " His mother started nervously. " -Just need to talk to him. He was, um, supposed to be cutting a tune for us, and he is... You know, a bit late!" Lucious spat out, and Andre pointed to the men's bathroom, where Lucious ran in "Wait... Lucious!" Cookie called after him. A second later, he grabbed her arm and pulled her into the bathroom. "Lucious, what the hell! You got me in this men's restroom and we..." She stopped as she heard a grunting noise from the last stall. "Ha.. Hakeem?" She asked, confused as Hakeem slowly limped towards them, wiping his mouth, and brushed against his father's shoulder as he washed his hands. "Baby, you" "Nope!" He spat out towards Cookie. "In order for you to tell me about ANYTHING I just saw... Ima have to have something to drink..."Their youngest said, and walked out of the bathroom, into the studio he ran out of previously, where he briskly walked to the bar, poured himself a glass of vodka, and sat down. He looked at them and sighed. He knew that they loved each other, but the way shit was going now with Anika? And Laura not even returning his calls because she "couldn't take his family anymore"? Shit, some things never change... "Okay... So... Leeme just cut to the chase... First, Dad, how'd you get Ma to come back? Cuz..." Lucious glanced at his son, then turned to Cookie, who swallowed and looked away. Well, if he really wanted to know... "Last night..." He began, as a smile found its way on his face. "I went over to her house, and let's just say, we came to an agreement..." He finished as Cookie smacked the back of his head. "What?" He said innocently as she rolled eyes. "My God, that is sick!" Keem said as he took the rest of his vodka to the head. "Boy, how you think you got here?" Cookie laughed as Lucious started to chuckle too. "But, babe, you can't tell anyone alright?" Cookie stated. Why not?" Hakeem said, confused. "You both own the damn company! I'm not saying I want you to go around, smashing everywhere, but why not?" It was true, they did own the company, but if Mal found out... Or Anika? That could mean bad for the both of them... "Well not yet anyway, Keem." "But, why-" "Look, boy. We said no and that's final, okay?" Lucious's voice boomed at Hakeem not like he was talking to a 22 year old, but a 5 year old. "Aight, but..." Hakeem left it at that as both of his parents shot him a deadly look. Just then, Lucious's phone chimed. He whipped it out and sucked his teeth. "Damn it!" He whispered. "What?" Cookie asked with concern. "We got a meeting... Hakeem, call Mal and tell him Cookie is done with the song and to come listen to it. We gotta go to this meeting..." When they were outside the door, Cookie turned to him. "What's so bad about the meeting?" He looked down and closed his eyes, then looked back up and licked his lips. "Nothing... Nothing at all... Lets go......"......
