Oooooooh MY GOOOOOOD!" Anika screamed out, a thin layer of sweat covering her face, hour 21, no, 22, of labor. "Aye, its gon be aight, OK? We gon get lil dude outta der..." Hakeem said softly to her, dabbing her forehead with damp tissues as she gripped the sheets. "Anika just breathe, OK?" Cookie said, gently grabbing her other hand. Hell, she didn't even like the bitch to be honest, but right now wasn't about her or her feelings. It was about getting her grandson out of there safely. "Look, I know you-" "It hurts so bad!" Anika groaned out, then her eyes bulged out and she threw her head back into the pillow, a pained expression on her face as she started SCREAMING. "I think I see a head! Ms. Cal- I mean, Mrs. Lyon, push, come on, push!" The doctor called out as everyone started yelling out encouraging words to Anika, who looked like she was just about to die. Everyone, except Lucious. He stood quietly behind Cookie, hoping no one noticed he was still inside the room. Leah watched him carefully, as he looked over Anika's body, sometimes rubbing his temples as if a headache was coming on. He glanced at his watch, let out a heavy breath, and turned his attention back on Anika, who was moving and squirming all over the place. "Mrs. Lyon, I'm going to need you to calm down, OK? Take a deep breath, the body is almost completely out..." "Thank the Lord!" Lucious muttered under his breath. He still couldn't believe that lowlife skank got herself knocked up by his son. And she thought that would be a way to get back at him? Ha! What. A. Laugh! He was pretty GLAD about the decisions he made throughout these last weeks, the ones Cookie knew and didn't know about. But now, his, well, their grandson was almost here, and there was no turning back from that, he thought to himself as he glanced over to Hakeem, who was still whispering soothing words to his ghostly pale baby mama. He let his eyes continue to travel, eventually letting his eyes come to a stop on Jamal, who was staring right back at him, a mean mug on his face, as he held the box of tissues for Keem. When Mal had stormed out of his mother's apartment, then found out Anika was in labor, he almost didn't come. It took Cookie, Tormentó, and Leah to convince him to come, but he did finally, not speaking a word to his mother or father. Lucious smirked, and slid his arm around Cookie's waist as Jamal rolled his eyes, tossed the box of tissues to Dre, and walked out. "Wait, Mal, come back, don't-" Cookie started. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Anika yelled out, and passed out onto the bed. "And FINALLY!" The doctor yelled out, covered in sweat as he came up from between Anika's legs. "A healthy, beautiful, baby boy..."

A tear rolled down Hakeem's eye, as he cut the umbilical cord. Anika came to, and smiled weakly as they slowly handed him to her. "He's gorgeous..." She finally said, and no one could disagree. "We got a name, Mom and Dad?" The nurse said, clipboard in hand. Hakeem scrunched his face in thought, looking down at his son. "Amir... Rohan... Lyon... Yep! Amir Rohan Lyon." The nurse checked the spelling, and left with the doctor to put him in the system. "Be Right back!" They said, shutting the door. "I love it, Hakeem... Where'd you find that?" Anika said, as she fed the little one. "I was doing some research, and I found a couple of powerful Greek and Hebrew names I liked, so I put them together, and voila!" He said, grinning as he continued looking at the small piece of him that laid in Anika's arms. "It's nice, very nice, Hakeem. Great choice.." Anika's mother said, smiling lightly. "Thanks, Mrs. Calhoun." Hakeem said back. "Can I... can I hold him?" Cookie asked Anika, who shook her head no and started to try to explain. "I just want to make sure he's well fed before anyone else holds him. Maybe next time, Cookie..." Cookie blinked rapidly, and nodded, a sad expression on her face. Her first grandchild, and she couldn't even hold him? She wasn't even that petty when she gave birth to Hakeem's big head ass... But it was cool tho. "Well, I guess I'll let y'all get y'all rest. Lucious, you ready?" He nodded, and opened the door for Cookie as she angrily walked out. He tossed a look at Anika, then ran out after Cookie, who was about 2 seconds from breaking one of the hospital windows. "Well, um, I'd better go help Dad... Congrats though, bro. I'm really-" He said, clearing his throat to stop his voice from cracking. "Really happy for you, Keem." He pulled Hakeem in for a quick bear hug, and hurried out the door, where his mom and dad were having a very LOUD discussion. Anika shook her head and turned to Hakeem as she shifted Amir around so he'd be more comfortable. "Thank you, Keem." "Thank me for what?" He said, confused. "For this. Our son. A family, and although it might not be happy right now, I know you'll help me do just about anything to make it that." "Of course. As long as you and my son are safe, I would do anything... I guess." "At all costs?" At ALL costs...".............
