One week later....... Thursday, 11:30 am

"Yeah, just have it delivered to my door... Cool... Thanks, man! Bye!" Lucious said happily as he hung up the phone, and walked inside their office. Cookie looked up from the papers she was signing, and smiled as he walked over, getting up to give him a hug. "Hey! Where you been? You was gone this morning..." She said as they broke apart, as she leaned up against the desk, and awaited his answer. He gave a small chuckle, and rubbed the back of his neck. "It's nothing. You know, just... Getting some work done or whatever-" "Yeah, that work betta not evolved some other bitch, Lucious. I'm serious... Let me find out... Snip-SNIP!" She said, making a scissor motion with her hands. He laughed and as she tried to walk away, he grabbed her by her waist and kissed her cheek softly. "Oh, come on Cooks... Do you really think after all we've been through, that I would cheat again?" She threw him a look, and walked over to the bar, to get some cranberry juice, him right on her tail. "Speaking of which, you know your fiancé is due pretty soon, we need to have someone on watch for her..." "Nonsense! Hakeem checks on her everyday, that should be enough for her. Now, back to to what we were talking about..." He said, burying his face in her neck, catching her off guard. "Oh my God, Lucious, stop!" She said, laughing loud, whole mood changing. "Nope!" He said, kissing and nibbling all over her neck. She tried to push him off, but to no avail, as he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist ( but not too tight, of course). "Lucious, stop! You got this door wide open and you gon do this?" She tried to get out as he continued to tickle her with his kisses. "OK, fine. You want me to stop that..." He said, as he came up from her neck, and captured her lips. She draped her arms around his neck, and returned the kiss, giggling a bit as his hands slid down from her waist, to her ass, and he slipped his tongue in her mouth. And, as if he was sent on cue, Jamal just so happened to walk by, on his way to the studio. He stopped in his tracks, alarmed, and blinked profusely, not sure he was seeing, WHAT he was seeing. He hurriedly knocked on the open door, and they broke apart. "Hey, Mal!" Lucious said cheerfully, as he wiped off a bit of the red lipstick that Cookie left on his lips. Jamal completely ignored his dad, and turned to Cookie. "Ma, is there something you want to tell me?" She shook her head and started to speak, but Lucious could tell by her face, she needed his helped, so he jumped in. "What's your problem, Mal? Two friends can't share a friendly kiss?" "I'm not saying they can't, but that kiss seemed a little TOO friendly, if you ask me!" He said, crossing his arms. "Well, I didn't see anything wrong with it, did you, Cookie? You see anything wrong?" "I mean, Mal, I didn't see any problem, really..." "That's wasn't what you were saying a month ago but hey..." He said, walking out angrily. She sighed and Lucious walked over to close the door, shut it, and walked back over to Cookie. "Cookie, that's not what I-" "Lucious, I think tonight may be time..." "What, time? Time for what?" He said, face scrunched up in confusion. "Time for us to tell them... Tell them what's really going on...".................
