The white sheets coated the sleeping lovers, keeping them warm when it was below twenty degrees outside. His arm lay lightly draped around her shoulders, keeping her close to his chest. Her ring sat neatly on her finger, the jewels dazzling in the morning light seeping through the slats decorating the windows. Their soft breaths could be heard, making the blanket rise and fall with their bodies. Their Golden Retriever slept on a pillow on the floor by their bed, snoozing like them.
She fell from her small comatose, keeping her eyelids closed and snuggling into her fiancé. She became more aware of his breathing on her neck, enjoying the feeling of the warmth cascading down her shoulder and sending a warming sensation throughout her body. Her thoughts started to become aware, letting her think about how happy she was that this man – this wonderful, beautiful man – was her soulmate.
She blindly searched for his hand with her own, wanting to hold it without having any interruptions. Finding it, she let out a sigh and intertwined her fingers with his, rubbing her thumb across his palm. She heard a long sigh from behind her, then felt him pull her closer and flex the hand within hers. Knowing he was awake, she shifted a little, feeling one of his legs over hers and once again, rejoicing in the fact that she could wake up to this – to him, every morning.
"Baby," he gruffly whispered, his raspy morning voice sending vibrations through her ears.
"Marki," she whispered back, opening her eyes and taking in the white from her bed and the two hands intermingled in front of her. "Can we sleep in today? I don' wanna go anywhere." Giggling, she tapped his arm to let him know that she was about to turn, so he relinquished his grip and let her do so. She placed her head on his chest, leaning up and kissing his shoulder and neck before going back down to her spot.
"If you want to, my love. I'm completely fine where I'm at." He let a smile grace his handsome features, placing one arm around her body and pulling her a little closer to his body. Their legs mingled once again, the warmth radiating off them allowing for more heat to spread throughout the sheets.

This time, he was the first to wake up, sighing when he realized he'd have to get up this time. She was still lying on his chest, her hands in fists and her face a little squished. He reached over his soulmate, touching his phone with his fingertips and inching it closer so that he was actually able to grab correctly. When he pressed the small button in the center he was greeted with the time and a wallpaper of him and her posing with silly faces.
He smiled fondly at the picture, looking under his phone and kissing her head before looking back at it. The screen had gone off, so he pressed the button again, looking at the actual time that go around. It read 12:32, and he knew his videos were going to be late today. Unlocking his phone with her birthday, he went to his twitter and typed in a quick apology for the said videos being late and threw the phone back down on the bed.
She stirred moments later, going under the covers a little further and kissing his bare stomach. "Do I have to get up? Marki, don't make me get up; you're really warm and comfortable and I'm really lazy, and please don't make me get up." Laughing, he pulled back the duvet and stared at her big e/c eyes, getting lost in them for a moment. Pulling himself back to reality, he pulled himself against the headboard, making her sit up with him. "Nu," she whined, making him laugh once again.
"C'mon, baby, let's go have some breakfast-lunch-whatever-it-is." Sighing, she waited for him to get up, then watched as he walked over to her side and bent down, giving her a quick thumbs up. Smiling, she climbed onto his back and kissed his ear, then his neck, then his shoulder, and finally, while reaching her head forward, kissed his cheek. "I love kissing you, Marki. Have I ever told you that? Have I ever told you how happy I am to be your soulmate? Or how about how cute you are? Or maybe, just maybe, how you make my heart beat so fast when you compliment me? Oh! I know! Have I ever told you about how excited I was to be your wife?"
Each time she asked a question, he would laugh a little harder and pick her up on his back, making sure she sat comfortably on his hips. "Actually, my love, I don't think I've told you how excited I am for you to be my wife; how cute you are; how you make my heart beat so quickly at just the sight of you; how much I love kissing you; how glad I am to be your soulmate. And if I have, I don't think I'll ever be able to not tell you that. You're just the center of my world, and I love that."
"Two more months, Marki. Two more months and I'll be forever yours – as if I was never going to be." He let her down and brought her close, cupping her cheek with his hand. "Two more months and I'll be forever yours, my love."
