Chapter 24: The Setup

Ashton's POV

I woke up to my brother Harry jumping on me. 

"Ashton wake up!!" He yelled. 

"I'm awake.. Now get out." I said without opening my eyes. 

"Breakfast is ready" Harry said getting out of my room. I chuckled to myself and then sat up to look at my phone.

I texted Briana saying Good morning and she immediately called me. 

"Hey Ashton" 

"Hey beautiful. How did you sleep?" I asked her. 

"Good. But Ashton the reason I called you was because-"

"Because you were dying to hear my sexy morning voice right?" I smirked into the phone. 

She started laughing softly and said, "Well it is sexy but no.. I have to tell you something.." 

"Okay shoot." 

"Well.. When are you guys leaving for tour?" 

"In like 2 weeks.. Why? Did Dacey tell you about the plan? " 

"What plan?" She asked. Crap. 

"Um.. Well.."

"Ashton..." She said sternly. 

"Well me and the boys wanted you guys to come with us.. Dacey is good at video editing so we were thinking to make a tour diary plus a music video for the fans.. And you, well Michael doesn't want to leave his little sister alone.. " I said. 

"Well.. Ashton.. Um.. I won't be able to go... And plus if I do go, I have to take online classes and whatever.. And plus colleges Ashton.." She said.

"So you're saying that you don't want to go? Is that it?" I said with a hint of annoyance in my voice. 

"Ashton.." 

"No Briana. I understand if you don't want to go. But hear me out let me try to-"  

"Ashton! I have to work for 3 more weeks! I can't see you!" She yelled. 

I stay silent for a couple of seconds. "So.. this is it? I'm not gonna see you until 5 months?" I whispered.

"I guess.. Should we break up?" Briana said. 

I immediately said, "No. We'll make this work. I promised you that we will try to make it work. "
