~Chapter 34~

Lashay's POV

"Jerry!" I scream.

I run over to him with tears running down my face and kneel down beside him. 

He's gasping for air while holding his leg, blood leaking out into his hand. 

I grab the back of his head and let it rest on my thigh while rubbing his head.

"It's alright Jerry. It's okay." 

"I know it's ok fam. I'm gucci." He grunts out and I smile at him.

Still trying to make jokes at a time like this. 

"Jerry we're about to get you up and sitting on the couch okay?"

"Alright." 

I nod towards Rico and Samuel and they rush over by his side. 

"You ready Jerry? One, two, three." 

They both pick him up and he screams in pain. 

I lay a blanket down on the couch and a pillow at the back to support his back.

"Bring him over here." 

The bring him over to the spot I made and sits him down on it. 

I run to get the kitchen cloth and pass it to him.

"Keep pressure on that wound."

He nods, his eyes getting droopier and droopier by the second. 

"Shit. Rico go upstairs and get my first aid kit from out of the master bedroom and Samuel get me some medical scissors from under the cabinet. I have to get this bullet out."

They go on to find what I told them and I walk over to Jerry.

"Jerry?"

"H-huh?"

"Stay with me okay? Tell me out what your cousin did again." I say while putting pressure on his wound myself. 

"Man that m-motherfucker is crazy man. H-...."

"Jerry?"

He doesn't say anything as his eyes start to close. 

"Jerry!" 

Nothing.

"Rico and Samuel hurry the fuck up!" I scream, tears falling down my face as Jerry starts to cough up blood. 

They run in with the things I told them some seconds later. 

"Sam I need a wet cloth right now! Hurry!" 

He runs to get one and I open my first aid kit while continuing to press down on his wound.

I take the wet cloth from Samuel and dab Jerry's face with it.

"Come on Jerry come back."

He groans and I smile before cutting his pants leg open.
