"Get up! We leave today!"

Millard Nullings was shaken awake by Bronwyn, which nearly sent him flailing over the side of the bed. He sat up groggily.

"Leave for what?" He yawned.

"Miss Bluefoot's! Emma told me to come and wake you. Now get dressed!"

she left the room. Millard slid out of bed and stretched. The door opened suddenly

"Actually, you shouldn't get dressed. We're taking the train there and we don't need the self-supporting trousers to give us all away."

Bronwyn said, re-entering the room. Great, Millard thought. I'm ready to go. He smelled some delicious smell wafting in from the kitchen. He wasn't sure what it was, but knew he wanted to eat all of it. Emma had kept him from eating dinner last night because he had badmouthed her favorite novel series. He couldn't help it, though. The books were absolutely atrocious. They was a rather recently written book (they were staying in the year 2016.) It was some romantic drivel called Twilight. He walked into the kitchen and bid good morning to Miss Peregrine's many other peculiar children. Everyone was awake save Jacob. He sat down and snagged a plate of toast and scrambled eggs. Emma was cooking bacon and hashbrowns, which was what he was smelling earlier. The toast and eggs on his plate were eaten quickly. Emma was serving the bacon and hashbrowns when Jacob walked in. He walked over to where Millard was sitting, thinking the chair was empty. Millard quickly scooted back in his chair to make sure he was seen. Jacob sat in a different chair. Miss Peregrine entered the room after everyone set down their forks and knives. She turned to Millard.

"Do put some clothes on, Millard. We do not dine in the nude."

"But Miss, we're taking the train and Millard's seemingly self-supporting clothing will raise questions!" Olive interjected.

"He will stayed clothed until we get to the station." Miss Peregrine replied.

Millard begrudgingly went back to his room and got dressed. He decided on wearing a collared white shirt, black trousers, and a colorful sweatervest to keep himself warm. He walked into Hugh's room to see his clothing in the mirror, not having one in his own room. He deemed himself presentable, and returned to the kitchen. Only two kids remained in the room; It was Bronwyn helping Claire with her jacket's zipper. He strolled to the front door and outside, where the others were waiting. During an tiring conversation with Horace about his choice in footwear (black dress shoes) Claire and Bronwyn stepped outside, making each child accounted for.

"Alright children. Is everyone ready to go?"
Miss Peregrine asked.
The group answered yes, and they walked towards the loop exit.

When they got to the train station, Miss Peregrine instructed Millard to undress, rendering him completely invisible. Jacob carried his clothes as Millard walked beside him. The train station was relatively clean, as was the train itself. Emma had reserved an entire car for everyone, and Millard was allowed to put his clothes back on. He pulled on his trousers (the shirt was quite itchy) and took his seat. It was a long train ride, and soon the kids got bored. It was absolutely silent. Until Hugh spoke up.

"Miss Peregrine?" Hugh asked.

"Yes?"

"Where are we going?"

The car erupted with laughter. Once the trip had been planned, Emma had gone around to tell everyone about it. She had forgotten to tell Hugh. Once the laughter died down, Miss Peregrine explained,

" We're going to Miss Bluefoot's in Vidayah. Her and I decided it would be good for you kids to meet hers, to get to know other peculiars better."

Hugh and the others nodded to show that they understood. Most of the kids talked and played card games, and Millard dozed off. He had a strange dream: Hugh's bees had turned into butterflies and he was spitting them all into Millard's room, which was distorted and painted various shades of orange. Hugh was also jumping on the bed and clapping his hands. What a strange dream.
