Chapter 12-
I didn't even care that mascara was running down my face or the fact that I couldn't breathe, I just looked at him and felt total guilt. He didn't know I was leaving tomorrow, and here we were fixing things but then shit happens.
"Jake", my voice trembling, "I forgot to tell you I'm moving."
"When baby girl.?" He responded
"Tomorrow."
Then a silence filled the oh so large room.
"I guess we'll just do long distance then." He said calmly.
My phone rang. It was my mom, so I picked it up and put it on speaker.
"Hey mom you're on speaker."
"Okay sweetie I have some news."
"You already told me we're moving tomorrow mom, what else is there?"
"Well he and I broke up so..."
I didn't even let her finish, I let out a squeal and kissed Jake. "I'm not moving!!!"
My mother still on the phone replied, " I figured you were with Jake, you two lovebirds are great."
I hung up and whispered, "I love you so much."
That night was special.
That night he took something special, my virginity.
It was the best night of both our lives, pure love filled the air. His childhood room now became our little paradise, his memories lay on the walls while we make our own. Everything was perfect. All this while we spent searching for that perfect one and he was, from childhood we were meant to be and the stars alined in my head, he loved me since preschool. This little shit was mine. He was and will always be The One.
