     morning came, her book three pages to the end. she needs to see if she can get the sequel.

     flicking the folded blanket up the tree again, she pressed the indigo back to her book. started walking. played with her home sweater - it smelt like brandy and shaving mouse. dad.

     soo kyu forgot to grab her beanie - maybe she could by a new one? a floppy red one. she'd like that.

     feet trudged to her favourite store, a familiar saturday spree and a familiar store owner.

     cold hands against fluffy wool, she payed with her usual smile. the owner faced her with something different, emotion. sorry.

     "how's this one?"

     eyes travelled to the change rooms. a restricting sight came to be.

     he grinned as she twirled around, a red dress tight on her hips. colder hands.

     the store owner offered a mirror, and she fixed her beanie to place.

     "thank you so much," she bowed. "thank you."

     she went on her way, the giggles slapping her on her way out.

     soo kyu didn't get the sequel, but she had a beanie floppy enough to hide her hair. and her scalp.
