"Nasaan na ba ang best friend mo? Gaaahd Mika ha? Malulusaw na itong foundation ko!" Carol said as she glance her face at the mirror.

Ni-check ko naman agad ang cellphone ko kung nag-text na si Jeron at sakto dahil nag-message na siya na nasa elevator na ng condo ni Ara.

Well, Jeron is my Best friend. Nagkakilala kami 3rd year highschool kami noon. May activity noon sa St. Scho kung saan invited ang mga students ng Xavier. Tapos since he's from an all-boys school tapos ako naman All-girls we both decided na kami na lang ang mag-partner sa JS Prom. Then the rest is history.

"Oh relak ka na dyan Cars, parating na si Je." I informed her.

Tumayo na si Ara sa sofa at nagsimulang i-unplug ang mga appliances sa unit niya. Maya-maya pa ay narinig na namin ang katok sa pinto. Sumilip ako sa peep hole and there I saw Jeron's face. I quickly opened the door. He welcomed me with his infamous grin and hugged me tightly.

"Shit Je! Di ako makahinga!" Sabi ko trying to release myself from his hug.

He laughed at me. "Na-miss kita, oy! Di ka nagpapakita sakin." Bumitaw na siya at pumasok na kami sa loob.

"Drama mo, di bagay!" I answered then I checked myself again at the front cam of my phone. "Ready na kayo guys ah? Let's go!" I stated.

Magb-bar kami tonight. Its Joshua's Despedida Party because he'll be leaving the country 2 days from now. Nakakaloka nga nga kaibigan naming yun dahil yesterday lang niya kami ni-inform about his decision. Maiiyak pa nga si Kib at Thomas eh. Haha

"You told Tita about tonight?" He asked still looking at the road. Of course si Je nagd-drive while I'm at the shotgun at nasa likod si Carol and Vic. May sariling mundo sila.

"Yep! Kakapaulit-ulit mo tingin mo talaga makakalimutan ko pa?" I chuckled. Pano ba naman nung nag-plan sila yesterday ay buong araw na niya ako ni-remind na magpaalam kina Mama. Ginawa pa akong bata.

"Buti they allowed you?" He said giving me a quick glance.

I grinned. "Syempre ikaw pinang-reason out ko eh. Haha kaya if something happens, lagot ka sa kanila!"

Pumapayag naman talaga lagi ang parents ko na magnight-life ako basta I'm with Jeron. Mas kampante kasi sila when I'm with him. So ano pala sina Ara, bad influence? Haha

"Yan, dyan ka magaling! Pero pag ako, laging nilalaglag!" Pang-aasar niya na siyang ikinatawa ko.

One time kasi ay sinabihan ako ni Jeron na pag nagtanong sina Tito Alvin kung nasaan siya ay sabihin kong may study sesh kami, kaso sa sobrang lutang ko that day ay sinabi kong hindi ko siya kasama. Ayun nahuli siya nina tito at binawasan ng allowance. Tsk tsk

"Hoy pinagbayaran ko yun! Pinag-photo copy kita ng notes mo, fyi."

We laughed and talked about a lot more things since we're still stuck in traffic. I'm blessed to have him as my pal kasi at least I get to share my burdens and victories with someone else bukod sa mga babae. Nasanay kasi ako na laging girls ang nakaka-socialize ko kaya hirap ako makipag-interact with the opposite sex.
