Chapter 27: Third Power

"You what?" I screamed.

"I did this." Ariel said and pointed to Snorts. He started flying!

"I got ya Snorts!" Then I grabbed him and she made me fly!

April tried it and she made Ariel fly! I tried it and brought my piggy to the ground. Then Julie did it and brought my piggy to her for a while we were fighting over my piggy until she said "It is really annoying how people in movies have telekinesis and they don't use it on themselves to fly away!" Then she lifted herself and flew!

"I wanna try!" I said. Soon we were all doing it then I lifted up Ariel and made her dance! "Quit it Pepto!" She said. I made her do the Whip! She hates me so much now. She used her powers and froze my hand. "Hey!" I melted the ice and shot lasers at her feet. "OW!" Ariel said. Julie healed her and said a spell that made me sing opera.

"LAAAAA LA LA LAAAAA OOOHHH OOOO LLALAAAAAALALALALLAAAOOHHH OH MA GOOO SHIII LAA LOHA!!!!!!!" I sang.

"What?" I taunted him.

"I CANNOT ANNSWERR YOOOUU LIKE THEEESS!!!!!!!!!!!"

We all cracked up!

"Ha ha ha," I said sarcastically, as the spell wore off.

"So... How did we get these powers?" I asked.

"I bet! That because we are all so powerful now, that he pretty much lost his power, and all of us, gained it! The more powerful that we all get, the less powerful that he becomes!" I said.

Ariel, Julie, and April's' jaws dropped to the floor.

"Ya know Pepto, you could go to Princeton someday!" Ariel complimented me.

"Yeha! And I'll be the best singer in that whole auditorium!" I put my hands on my hips proudly.

"On second thought... Let's send him to clown school!" April said.

"HA HA HA HA HA HA! I love to make people laugh!"

"Ok, now that we each have a third power, we have to practice it! Like, moving giant things, or moving them fast, and focusing, and other stuff like that! It will set us back a few days, or even weeks, because some of us are fast learners," Ariel said as I sat in the corner playing with my new power, "and some of us are not!"

"So we need practice, and only a few more days, it is already July 19." She said looking at an imaginary calendar.

"Well we should get to work." Julie said.

I watched them all walk outside with random items, so I joined in! "What are we doing with all of this- SNORTS!!!" I said. Julie took Snorts outside WITHOUT my permission!

"Set up all of these items from smallest to largest... Then we will each go up and down the line lifting each item and spinning it, higher and higher every time... Go through it 10 times, and then get in the house, and practice 'everyday life' actions and chores, like dishes, laundry, and changing the channel on the remote control." Ariel said.

"Okee Dokee." I stepped up to the first item, and I picked it up.

"No you idiot... With your powers!" Julie lifted up the first item without touching it.

"OOOHHHHH sorry!" I replied.

I went around in a loop 5 times and got tired, but I knew I was almost done, and the inside chores were 'first come first serve', and I really wanted to watch TV.

So, we ran around, using our new powers of telekinesis to lift the objects, I was best at the larger ones, because of my super strength, it kind of gave my mind strength a boost.

Ariel got done first, because of her super speed. She made the dinner with one hand, and folded laundry with the other.

Then Julie got done next, and got the TV. I wanted that!

April and I both got done at the same time. She set the table and made dinner with Ariel. April was best at the dishes though, because she used her wind power to dry them. I put my maid costume on and did the dusting. It was the only thing left! (Don't judge me!)

So as we practiced, we came together more, because we all worked together with the same power! We needed to be fast though... The day of the battle was near.
