Chapter 29: Battle With Wands

"What if we could control each other's powers?" Ariel said. They were all just sitting around with nothing to do... Well we could have practiced now that I think about it.

"Before I passed out from the lightning bolts, I felt a blast of energy." April responded.

"Maybe the energy was from each other!" Julie said.

"If we train I bet we could teach everyone our power." Ariel said.

"Well, the magic would be stronger in our wands." said Julie.

"Lets try it then! We don't have any time to waste!" Pepto yelled.

We spent all night trying to do it. It took hours and hours, until Ariel said, "What do you think of when you make magic? I think of my planet and think of ice and snow."

"I think of poison and potions and magic and stuff, like that show 'Wormsquid Smallshirt!' It had water under water! I always thought that was magic!" Julie replied.

"I think of lava... And pigs." Pepto said.

"I think of the plane crash and how windy it was jumping off. And that huge hurricane that happened a year ago." They all closed their eyes and a flame came in Julie's wand. Then April had a snowflake, and Ariel had a tornado, and Pepto spawned a pig by saying choíros. It was a girl. He used Julie's magic to make a pig! Then all the powers switched. Julie lightning, April magic, Ariel lava, and Pepto had snow. He was so scared he held out his wand in fear and ended up blasting Ariel with snow. She was in a pile of snow until she lifted up her wand and all the snow disappeared. "I think we are ready." April said. We went outside near the woods and started practicing. Sometimes we would switch and we finally got all of our powers! First Julie got fire, then lightning, then ice. Pepto got the magic, tornado, then ice. April got ice, fire, then magic, last Ariel with fire, magic, and rain. We mastered all powers we have. But if we lose our wands we lose each other's powers. We wanted to finish destroying Elementar's dungeon so we got on the ice boards and Ariel said "Break!" The ice boards split and we used our own powers to finish damaging the castle but when we separated the break was rough and fast and Julie fell off.

"I really need to fix these boards!" Ariel said. It was too late for Julie to stop her fall so she just slowed it down.

"So you still haven't learned your lesson." Elementar said. He took out his wand and shot an earthy rock at her and it encased her. Note to self stay away from rocks. As it encased her she said diakopí and the rock exploded! It was so powerful it knocked Elementar down! She could tell he was getting stronger he summoned the dead but Julie shot off their heads with lightning. He was surprised and that gave Julie the chance to electrocute him. Instead he absorbed the lightning and shot it out of his wand. It was lightning to lightning until she used April's power to create a tornado. "That was a big mistake." He said and went into the tornado. He controlled it! It went towards Julie and she dodged it He went in circles and there was a dust cloud. When it cleared Julie saw a tornado running away, or flying away. Julie used as much power as possible and set the tornado on fire. It was a fire tornado! So cool! Anyway the tornado disappeared and she used more fire to burn the wand to ashes. For a finishing touch Julie froze Elementar and took the ashes of the wand. She looked back and saw that the dungeon was dead and she called for her ice board. Elementar will not stay frozen for long.
