Chapter 18: Pepto... This is all your fault

Thanks to my super speed, I didn't set off any of the traps, and it gave me a boost so I could bust down that door. I started to burn up really bad, but I just froze my skin at the door, and told myself, that Julie can help me later. I bet they knew April was coming, so they put in acid rain, and locked the door. I froze the lock, and the rain... I was starting to think that my speed power was useless... I'm so glad it isn't!

"Pe-" I silenced myself... I didn't want to end up like the guy I was trying to save, by doing the same thing that he did to get into this whole mess. I walked around... The whole room was empty, I mean there was absolutely nothing in it. I literally thought that I went into the wrong room. I heard a muffled scream, but I didn't hear what direction it was in... I was sure it was Pepto, I wanted him to scream again, but I knew it would be because of his pain. So I waited. This time I heard. It was right on front of me, I didn't want to give myself away, or let them know that April was still alive...

So I went with blowing the first one.

"PEPPTTOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I screamed. I watched the pattern of the bricks in the wall up, down, left, glow.

A door appeared in the wall... Fog poured out. Some Elemental Guards came and put metal clasps around my hands, and pulled me in the room with Pepto. I faked a loud sob, and cold tears poured down my face. I wanted this to look as REAL as possible! I winked at Pepto and he gave me a confused look. I continued to sob... Pepto looked at me with a worried expression. Maybe even he bought the whole April-Julie trap thing! That is kind of good. "I tried to stop her!" I sobbed. "She tried to save him! Pepto it's too late! Ah!" I cried. "What? When? Whoooo?!?!" He cried... yeah he was definitely falling for this. "She is gone," I lied.

"WHO?!?" he yelled. "I am going to get a coffee, anybody wanna come with?" Elementar said. "Yeah." The guards said enthusiastically. "Don't! Move!" Elementar put his finger to his eyes, and then pointed to us.

They all left.

"What is going on?!?" Pepto asked.

"They are fine, don't move... argh!" I pushed my hands down with all my might, and with the help of my powers, the claps were off. That drained my a lot, like Julie... My face seemed pure white because my skin is already pale. I stumbled around. "Hold on a minute Pepto, I can-" and he shot lasers through his metal clasps. "I had a plan too ya know" he said. We looked around the room, trying to find some type of door. "Where is the EXIT! I am very claustrophobic!" Pepto yelled. "PEPTO! THIS ROOM IS HUGE!!" I yelled at him. "So?" He said.

"Nevermind." I replied.

"How do we get out?" Pepto said, a little more calmly.

"When I entered, I watched the brick movements, so the left and right movements should be backwards from the inside! Did you hear what they said right before I came in?"

"Yeah... Come in!"

"Duh Pepto, but I can't just do this," I pushed in the blocks, " and say come in... That's just stupid."

Pepto ran right past me, I thought he would hit the wall, but it was opened.

"Oh." I bet he thought that I was a real idiot. He turned around.

"You coming?"

"Oh right." I forgot that I was just standing there, I really looked stupid.

"I can't run very fast with my power drained Pepto."

"Then do this," he shot some lasers at my feet and my powers activated.

I grabbed Pepto and we were going so fast he caught on fire! "AHHHHHH!" Pepto turned green and puked! We went in circles until we found the traps. We saw Julie and April! Julie had a mini grill and she was roasting hot dogs.

Then she pulled out her wand and said, "vradinó."

Then a whole meal popped up!

"Unfair!" Ariel said. Then she realized that she said it out loud. They looked over, and noticed their brother and sister standing there.

"ARIEL! PEPTO! They screamed.

"Care to join us?" April asked.

"Yes I haven't eaten good food in days!" Pepto said.

"Yes you have! You hogged all of the cheeseballs at the ball, and that was YESTERDAY!" Julie yelled.

So, we climbed through the traps and enjoyed the food. When Pepto finished eating, he leaned back, and thanked Julie for the amazing food. But when he leaned back, there just so happened to be another trap... on the wall, where he leaned... and we start this trouble all over again. there was a button that set off an alarm! Elemental Guards came running in all directions and ran straight through the traps without getting hurt! Then we were circled.
