-Alex's POV-

Almost as soon as I sit down, I notice a tall guy with black hair and tanned skin walk towards me. He sits across from me and smirks. "I'm Calum and you are?" He asks and I roll my eyes at him. "Clearly not interested." I snap at him and I look at my phone acting like I'm busy doing something. Yet this guy just seems so persistent on talking to me. I would hope he would just leave. He continues to sit and stare. "Do you mind?" I ask him. He just shakes his head. "Nope, not at all. Do you?" He says and I glare at him.
I sigh and I stare at the clock; it was only twelve fucking thirty. I just have to make it through a half hour and then I get to go to my next class. I rummage through my bag as I look through my schedule. Hey my next class is music, I can actually participate in and pass that class. After awhile, I daze off for a while. Though I'm soon brought back to reality when I feel my phone being grabbed out of my hand. I look over to that Calum guy and I see him typing his number in my phone. He then texts himself from my phone before giving it back. He winks at me and smiles before standing up and walking out of the cafeteria..odd. I shrug it off and a few of the girls that I talked to this morning came up to talk to me for a bit. They seem nice and I exchange numbers with them as well before the bell rings. As the bell rings, I immediately see Michael walking in the cafeteria. "You left me. Like you didn't even make sure I was okay. You just walked out and left me to fend for myself. I could have seriously fucked something up!" I yell at him and he just stands there in silence. Well at least he knows when to shut up.
I open my mouth to speak again but before I can say a word, he grabs my wrist and leads me out of the cafeteria to the music room. Once we get there, my face lights up in awe at how marvelous the music room is. There's a few guitars on the wall, a piano in the corner, it's amazing. Out of the corner of my eye I see Michael notice my reaction but I don't think anything of it. We sit down and class starts. My hand is raised for almost every question and I smile when I get the answer right. I may not be able to fully pass any of my other main classes but I know for sure that I pass my music classes every year with flying colors. That may not be how it's supposed to be but that's just how it is. After about an hour, the dismissal bell rings and everyone rushes out of the music room. Everyone except for Michael and I. Michael stands by the door as I just stand at my desk and look around the room in amazement. I can tell that he's getting a little impatient with me but honestly I don't care.
Though after awhile I realize that if Michael and I don't hurry we're going to miss our bus. My mum would surely be pissed at me if I did that, on the first day especially. As the two of us leave the music room, I get a text from Calum:

"So dinner tonight or tonight?"

"How about never?"

"Sorry won't work I need an physical answer."

"Why are you so obsessed with me??"

I roll my eyes after I press send and I put my phone in my back pocket as Michael and I walk towards the bus. "What's up, you seem annoyed?" Michael asks and he looks over as we walk. "I don't know this guy named Calum walked up to me at lunch today, proceeded to put his number in my phone and then leave. Now he keeps texting me." I sigh and Michael stops in his tracks. "Did you say his name was Calum?" He mumbles and I nod my head. "Yeah why? Do you know him? If you do please tell him to leave me alone. I would appreciate it." I tell him and he starts walking again. We find a spot on the bus and sit down. After a good ten minutes, we get to our stop and get off. We walk our separate ways and I walk straight to my house.
"Mom! I'm home!" I yell out and when I'm met with silence, I sigh in relief. "Yay I don't have to talk about my day." I think to myself as I drop my stuff right in front of the door. I walk to the kitchen to heat up a pack of hot and spicy ramen noodles. I notice a sticky note on the fridge that is a note from my mum. I don't bother reading it and I leave it where it is. I get a drink and I take my food and my school stuff upstairs. I turn on music and I blast the volume. I hum along as I do my school work, not noticing the sound of a car door slam shut in the driveway.
I'm soon interrupted by the abrupt stop to my music. I look up to be greeted to my mum holding the stereo cord in her hand. "You're going to go deaf by the time you're twenty-five if you continue to have it that loud." She scolds. I shrug my shoulders and continue to do my work. She continues to stand there before dropping the stereo cord and going back downstairs. Once she's gone, I get back up and plug the cord back into the outlet. I smile at myself when I hear my music come back on and I continue to hang out in my room for the rest of the night.

Two chapters in one day? Yes I know surprising. Don't get used to it though. Girlfriend needed stuff cleared up so I thought just I'd clear it up for her right away.
