Chapter 16

Last night with everyone was actually nice. Everyone just seemed happy. I can tell it made Harry happy. I wouldn't mind doing more things like that with his friends. I do want to be closer with his friends. I know he won't really go around them unless I'm with him. Not that I really mind. I love being around him. Especially since he works a lot during the week. I know he could always work more but I'm happy that he doesn't.

I woke up to Harry leaving kisses all over my face. I can't help but smile being woke up like this. I'm sure he knows that. As soon as I opened my eyes he stopped with a smile playing on his lips. He softly pecked my lips, "Good morning, love."

"Good morning, babe."

He softly pecked my lips again, "Last night went well."

"True. I'm surprised Louis apologized."

He raised his eyebrow, "Yeah?"

"Did you have anything to do with that?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

I moved some of his hair, "Babe..."

"Okay, yes I had a talk with him about it."

It's a little weird that he didn't bring this up to me. He usually tells me everything. Maybe he thought I would catch on. It's a little hard no to when Louis was an ass like he was when we first met. He's an ass that I fell in love with. "What did you say to him?"

He frowned a little bit, "Well it started off with how he can't talk to you like that especially if he wants to stay in my life. Also that he needed to apologize you."

"I don't want to ruin friendships for you. I could have been fine without it."

"You didn't ruin anything. He was the one that was rude to you. I don't want anyone in my life if they can't accept the fact that I'm with you and that you come first in my life. I'm not going to let him get away with being rude to you."

I moved some of his hair, "You really don't have to do that for me."

"I want to. Love, get used to things being like this. That is exactly what a man is supposed to for the women he loves."

He's so sweet to me. I don't think I'll ever understand why he chose to be with me. Especially after his past. I'm forever thankful about it. I softly pecked his lips, "I don't know how I got lucky enough to have you."

He smiled a little bit, "I wonder the same thing about you."

"Maybe that's a sign we're just meant to be."

"I guess it is."

I moved some of his hair again, "Did you enjoy yesterday?"

"Of course I did. I got to spend it with the people I care about. Are you okay with being around them all?"

"Yeah. I feel a lot better about being around them now. I wouldn't mind being around them more."

He smiled a little bit, "Maybe we can all go back to Liam's family's lake house one more time before it gets too cold."

"That's not really up to us, babe."

"True but I can talk to Liam about it. I know him and Sophia go there a lot anyway."

I sighed, "I should really go clean the kitchen, babe."

He lent down, softly pressing his lips against mine. I can't help but smile a little bit. I'm not really surprised he's doing this right now. We didn't exactly get to kiss like this yesterday after everyone got here. I'm not upset about that. It would have been a little weird. I don't want his friends looking at us basically make out. I'm sure they would mess with us about it. I tangled my fingers in his hair was our lips moved in sync. This just feels so right. I want this to lead to more but I really need to get somethings done around the house. I really don't want this to end though. I felt him run his tongue over my bottom lip. I quickly let him have entrance. He's so good at this. Well I mean he is good at a lot to things like this. I know that's not exactly a good thing. I know it's just part of his past. I'm never going to hold that against him. Especially with a past like mine. Maybe that's why we're perfect together. I just love how we're both just understanding of each other. I pulled away sooner than I wanted to, "I really need to get things done today."
