Chapter 19

It was nice being able to spend some time with Harry last night. We were both just happy. I know it's mainly because of the way my doctor's appointment went. Somehow we're not really too nervous about things right now. I'm sure we will be once it gets closer to my due date. We still have awhile till then though. We're mainly enjoying being happy about this right now. That's way it should be. Our life's together are moving on from what we had to go through because of Adam. We should have never had to go through it all but Adam is crazy and completely unpredictable. I should have known better than to just get a normal reaction out of him. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I'm happy about that. I've wanted away from so long and now I am. I finally have a normal life. A life that I've start with Harry. I wouldn't have wanted to with anyone else.

As I was cooking our dinner I looked up at the clock. Harry's a little later than usual. This is a little weird. He usually calls or texts me if he's going to be late. Maybe this isn't anything to worry about. He could be busy at work. It didn't take me very long to finish our dinner. He still isn't home. This is weird for him. I grabbed my phone off the counter, calling him. I really hope nothing happened to him like the last time. I don't need to be thinking like that. He answered after a few rings, "Is everything alright, love?"

"Yeah. I was just worried about you."

"I'm fine, babe. I was training someone and it took a little longer than I thought it would."

That's weird. "Was it a girl?"

He chuckled, "No. If it was you would have nothing to worry about."

"Yeah? How do I know that?"

"You're the only girl I want. You're still really sexy even when you're pregnant."

I rolled my eyes even though he can't see me, "I'm not even showing."

"I know but even when you are that isn't going to change."

"When are you going to be home?"

"In a few minutes. I'm down the road."

"I love you."

"I love you. I'll see you in a few minutes."

I hung up, putting my phone on the counter. I'm happy he's okay. That's mainly what I wanted to know. I just thought it was a little weird that he didn't call yet. I should have known that he was perfectly fine. I grabbed us each a plate out of the cabinet, putting food on both of them when I heard out front door open. I can't help but smile a little bit. I know that it's Harry. I'm not really sure who else would just walk into our house. No one really knows where we live. I'm honestly okay with that right now. I don't really want anyone here yet. I'm not really close with anyone other than Harry. His friends are nice though. I don't care if they come over. I don't want to keep Harry away from his friends. I just don't have too many because of Adam.

My thoughts were interrupted by Harry walking in, wrapping his arms around me. He kissed my cheek, "You're so beautiful."

I can't help but smile. I felt my face start to flush. I can't help it. I do it everytime he says things like this to me. I just need to get used to it. I felt him start to press himself up against me. I guess I'm not really surprised. He softly kissed his neck, "This is what you do to me, love."

I lent back into him, "You're gross."

He chuckled, "No. I'm just a man extremely attracted to his wife."

I smiled a little bit, looking up at him. He smirked a little bit, softly pressing his lips against mine. I have missed this today. I'm sure he knows that. I already know he missed me too. We're both not exactly any good at hiding anything like that from each other. I don't want us hiding anything. It didn't take long till I felt him smile a little bit into our kiss before pulling away. He kept our heads touching, "I love you."
