Hey guys!! So this is my first fan-fiction EVER!! Of course it had to be The Walking Dead cause I can't get enough of my beloved Daryl Dixon! I have already started this fan-fiction on IG and found out about Wattpad so I'm also posting them here as well!
I have written up to chapter 15 on IG so I'm transferring all the chapters here to! Some of them are quite short on IG so I might combine a few to make them longer. But anyway, here you go, and enjoy! Please leave feedback!!!!!

There I was, stranded on some road smack dab in the middle of Georgia fending for my life. What a wonderful place to be stuck in in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. I thought to myself sarcastically. I had been walking on this road for hours and it seemed to be going nowhere but at this moment, I really could care less.
As my backpack was slipping, I slung it back over my arm. It was starting to get real heavy now that I have jammed it with everything I could find. Food, tampons, water bottles, ammo, and clothes were now weighing on me causing my back to ache. I sat down on the side of the road with my back facing the woods lining the road. What do I do now? Do I keep walking on this god forbidden road or camp out somewhere? All this thinking was stressing me out.
Just then, I heard the roar of an engine as I looked down the road, I saw an old beat up red pick up truck. I grabbed my things and ran for the trees. I'm pretty sure they saw me cause the truck stopped right in front of the trees I was hiding behind.
"I see ye down ther'!" A husky voice called out as a tall, muscular man stepped from the truck. He was tall but only about four inches or so taller than me. He had muscular arms and a built body while wearing torn jeans, a plain t-Hirt and a leather jacket. I slowly can out from whined the trees as I carefully kept my eye on the man.
"Ye got a name?" He huffed as he leaned up against the side of the truck.
"Taylor, what about you?" I asked, I tried showing as much confidence as possible so he would know I wasn't afraid of him.
"Daryl, ye ain't very good at hidin. I saw ye jump up and run for them woods all the way down the road. Ye should work on that."
"Hmm.. Maybe I will, I wasn't expecting to see another living person."
He grunted at my comment. I relaxed a bit after viewing his body language and how he acted, I could tell he wasn't going to hurt me.
"Well, ye want a ride?" He asked breaking the silence.
"Where?" I asked,
"Back to mah group, they could use some more company."
"Yeah, I'd like that." I replies while giving him a warm smile. We then hopped in the truck and were off.
About half an hour later, we arrived at a cute little farm tucked away in the woods. It was very well put together and has remained stable against all these walkers. It was peaceful and very relaxing. Two men appeared out of the farm house. One was dressed in what looked like a sheriffs attire while the other was in a more casual tank and slacks. Ole sheriff boy, Rick was his name I later found out, greeted me with a warm smile and gentle eyes. I could tell I was going to like him. Shane was the other one and he didn't look too happy that I was there. He looked like a total douche to be honest. I decided to try and keep my distance from him.
They set me up with a tent next to Daryl's, which I didn't mind. After I had set up all my stuff in m tent, everyone was headed to dinner. I was then introduced to everyone, Andrea, Lori, Maggie, Carol, Beth, Glenn, Carl, T-dog, Dale, an Herschel. (Terribly sorry if I missed anyone, I've one completely blank! Hehe!) They were all very nice and seemed to really enjoy having someone new around.
"So Taylor, what did you do for a living before the virus?" Lori asked before taking a bite of stew.
"I was a hair stylist. I had just gotten my business degree in college, hoping one day to open my own salon. After college, I decided why not take a little vacation and I wandered here. Wasn't here for a week then the virus broke out." I said,
"You cut hair? The men could all use a haircut if you wouldn't mind?" Rick asked shyly.
"Nah, I'd love to! I'll go around to all the guys tents after dinner and fix me up." I said chuckling at that last part. We talking for awhile and they all had there questions they wanted to ask but I didn't mind. I was the complete stranger they are helping out so it was the least I could do.
"What happened to your family?" Shane spat without hesitation. Rick as Lori glared at him for his sudden outburst. He was eyeing me, trying to get me to let my guard down. Well, it wasn't working. I froze at the question then continued eating, I ignored his rude remark but answered it anyway.
"I don't quite know. I got a call from my mom when this first started, she was freaking out saying there were cannibals going crazy on the street. I had no clue what she was talking about until a man attacked a woman in front of me at the store. Growling and what not, tearing into her arm.... That's when I knew something was really wrong. But I managed to survive for this long so..." My voice trailing off.
Everyone was now looking at there plates, not knowing what to say I guess. I then felt a warm hand on my shoulder, as I looked up I saw it was Maggie. She had the most sorrowful look on her face.
"I'm so sorry Taylor... I bet there out there somewhere, alive! And your going to find them." She said pulling me into a hug.
"I don't know about that." I said while hugging her and standing up. I walked over to a bin and as my dirty plate on top. I slowly turned around and caught Daryl's gaze. His eyes the most beautiful vibrant blue of ever seen. His eyes were soft and gentle as he looked at mine. I looked down and walked away to go find some scissors to do the men's hair later.
Later: I had just about finished up with all the men's hair. Daryl was the last one I had to do. I walked over o his tent and found him leanings against a nearby tree messing with his arrows to his crossbow.
"Knock, knock! Your ready for your haircut? Your my last customer." I said jokingly. He smirked, "Yup."
He came and sat down on the ground facing me. I had just started clipping his bangs when I noticed he was staring at me.
"What are you looking at me like that for?" I asked
"Nothin... Jus' admirin yer face." He said looking at me through long eyelashes. I blushed at this but tried to hide it, it didn't work cause he noticed and drew a smirk on his face.
"I'm goin hunti tomorra if he wanna come. Ye know, see if ye can handle yerself." He said while slowly looking up at me.
"Sure, but I don't know, I think ya might slow me down." I said smiling and giving a small wink. He looked down and I noticed a slight pink tint I his cheeks. Well, would you look at that, I though, Mr.Badass is blushing!
I had just finished clipping the last bits of hair from his face when he stood up and leaned in close. "We'll see about that." He whispered in my ear before unzipping his tent and climbing in. A spark of excitement drove through me and left me standing dumbfounded. I think I was starting to feel something for this redneck... This beautiful redneck really..
