Taylor's P.O.V:

"You left me." I said,

"You left the baby."

He stared painstakingly into my eyes, knowing the mistake he made. Knowing how much hurt I had from what he had done. Knowing he could not undo it.

"I know... I know..." He whispered, his eyes sparkling as fresh tears welled.

I could see his jaw clenching as he comprehended everything. After a minute, his fist slammed down on the table causing me to jump.

He stood up and paced around the room randomly while his hand shot up roughly stroking his goatee.

"Merle was out there... I couldn't just leave him!" He shouted angrily at himself.

"Rick and the others decided they ain't gonna let him come back with us after the run."

"What the hell's I supposed to do?!" His hands flew as he yelled, his voice breaking just a little bit more with every word.

I wasn't going to stop him or try to comfort him, he needed to yell and let everything out. So I sat there listening and staring as he went wild at himself.

He had started out distraught and upset pacing back and forth, but time passed and he became more infuriated.

Tables were flipped, plates were thrown and smashed, curses were shouted into the air as he just completely lost it.

The strong man I had seen not even ten minutes ago was now fallen over in the corner sobbing into his knees. And the worst part? I wasn't phased by it.

I had let everything out over the past few days and I simply was exhausted. Not exhausted from lack of energy, but from emotion.

I had stopped feeling emotion and had grown a numbness. I wanted to feel something again but no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn't. It was as if I was drugged.

I was caught in some sort of shock and I just couldn't shake it. I slowly stood up and walked away towards the showers.

I stood under the faucet, fully clothed and flipped the lever. The stream of water landed on my head and tumbled downwards.

I just stood there, numb, as the cold water slowly engulfed me. I found myself slinking down the wall beside me and falling unconscious.
