*So I decided that I'm just going to kinda skip moving the group part and finding the prisoners and stuff. I feel I would just be mostly repeating everything that happened in the show and there wouldn't be much of a difference. So as of right now, the group is all settled into the prison and Lori, and T-Dog have already been killed. There hasn't been any news on Merle yet so everyone just assumes hes dead.*

Daryl's P.O.V:

"Aye babe, I'm goin huntin. Ye wanna come?" I called out as I walked into our cell. Taylor was on the bed leaning against the wall. Her head shot up as she smiled.

"Yeah, let me get my knife and I'll be ready." She jumped up and grabbed her knife holster, attaching it to her leg. I had my crossbow ready and slung over my arm.

I waited as she tightened the straps on the holster, securing before she nodded letting me know she was ready. I grabbed her hand and we headed over to the "kitchen" of our cell block.

We found Carol washing clothes, Maggie and Glenn were sitting talking, and Rick was in the walkway of the cell door leaning against the railing.

"Rick!" I yelled, he slowly looked up, his eyes an emotionless pit. Lori's death has really jacked his head up.

"Were goin huntin, be back in a few hours." He nodded softly and we made our way out of the cell block.

Taylor's P.O.V:

We had been walking for awhile and caught about 6 squirrels. I had them strung on a ring of rope I made for Daryl that made it easier to carry them. It was hooked on my belt, dangling to about my knee.

"We should check out that building up ahead." I said pointing to my left. You could barely see the white of the building through the leaves and brush.

"Nice eye! Didn't see tha'." He smirked a little and quickened his pace a bit. I matched and we soon appeared in front of the building which by the look of it used to be a house.

Daryl made his way to the front door with me right on his heels. I reached for my knife and flipped it over and over in my hand as he readied his crossbow. He looked at me and I nodded signaling him to open the door.

He slowly opened it, he entered first slowly and cautiously. There was pictures, clothing, books, and random items strung all around the floor.

We checked the used to be dining room and cleared it. The table had been flipped on its side with some blood following along the wall. What happened here?

My thoughts were interrupted with a rustling noise coming from the kitchen. My eyes grew wide and I shot my head in the direction of the sound.

It was coming from the kitchen. Daryl swiftly darted across the battered house stopping at the doorframe of the kitchen an peered in. He nodded his head toward a large cabinet which I'm guessing was a pantry at one time.

The door was cracked open slightly, I quietly tiptoed behind Daryl. He grabbed the doorknob of of the pantry and threw it open, his finger on the trigger of his crossbow ready to fire if need be.

I crouched down and moved forward ready to attack. I froze, every ounce of anger and fear that had dwelled in me had been drained in that very instant.

What was in that pantry wasn't a walker or a creature of the undead, but a little girl, a living, breathing girl.

"Holy shit..." I whispered, my breathing had become ragged now with the suspense that had been building inside me while searching this place in hopes of finding food, not a little girl.

"Hanah?" I stared at Daryl, how the hell did he know her?

"Daryl? Daryl!!" She screamed and leapt out of her sitting position in the pantry. The two practically tackled each other with the force of them throwing their bodies at one another.

"I thought I lost ye... I thought ye was a goner... I figured ya aint comin back..." Daryl said to her while still cradling her in his arms. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" He kept repeating this over and over till there was tears coming from his eyes.

They stayed like that for a few minutes as I was over here just a few feet away in complete shock, not knowing what to do. After a few more minutes, they broke away and looked back at a very confused me.

"Taylor.. This is Hanah, my little sister...."
