Taylor's P.O.V:
*one day later*
I continued to lay unmoving from my fetal position on the cold, worn mattress. I had stayed like that for god knows how long even with the prodding voices of Rick and the others as they tried their best to get me up and moving or at least talking but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
Daryl was my world and my life, now he is gone; disappeared out of nowhere from it. Just a few days ago I kissed him goodbye for the last time as he left on a run with Rick leaving me unknowing that he wouldn't return.
He would return for me.... Or even our unborn child..
"Taylor..? Please.. Just say something.." Beth quietly pleaded while sitting by my side. A minute or so went by as my thoughts continuously whirled around in my head.
".... I miss him.." I finally choked out, barely above a whisper. Beth nodded, the tears that had started welling in her eyes began to tumble down her cheeks in large streams.
"I know, I know.." She whispered, her attempts at keeping more tears from spilling failed as she burst out crying. Breaking down at my side.
Right then, it hit me of how broken and pitiful my soul really was. I had no more tears to cry, no more chest aching feelings overcoming me. All I could do was lay there, staring blankly at the young girl bawling beside me. Her heart aching for my pain and loss, though I couldn't do anything about it.
Daryl's P.O.V:
We neared a clearing in the trees that lay in front of the prison. The hot Georgia sun was baking our skin as we continued to walk forward toward our desired destination.
"There it is." Merle stated, stopping in his tracks as he laid his eyes upon the prison.
Along the way, I had explained how we found the prison and took it over. I gave him a long ole spiel of everything that has happened inside the prison, even the directions to get there..
"Yup.." I nodded, his hand lightly clamped on my shoulder closest to him.
"Ya ready ta see yer woman again, baby brother?" He asked genuinely, I chuckled a little and nodded.
"Yeah, yeah, I am."
Ricks P.O.V:
"Rick!!" My head shot in the direction of the voice as Maggie came running into the prison.
"What's wrong?!" She sighed, laughing a little.
"Your never gonna believe this."
--------
My sight was set on the two figures standing just outside our gates. The walk from the prison to the figures seemed never ending. As we neered the figures, I went to draw my gun when a hand gently stopped me.
"Your not gonna need that." Maggie said, smiling from ear to ear. I shook my head in confusion and glanced back at the unknown figures.
"Ya miss us?!" A familiar raspy voice teased. His arms flew up above his head as he began to cackle.
"You gotta be shitting me.." I breathed, Maggie and Glenn began laughing as Carl ran to unlock the gate.
"Daryl!" I called out in astonishment as he walked up to me, enclosing me in a bear hug. I sighed deeply, feeling a flush of relief and happiness.
It was all smiles and hugs as the thought of Daryl returning to us in one piece soaked into our heads. There came a long pause as we withdrew from our tight hug and stared each other dead in the eye.
"Where is she?"
