Standing in front of me was Aiden Knights the last person on earth whom I wouldn't even want to see.
His gaze started from my feet and up until my chest and lingered there for a while. Anger and embarrassment both shot up my veins. " Eyes up here!? " well it was supposed to be stated but it came out as a question. Get a grip Vic!
His gaze finally met mine and slowly his lips twitched up at the corners, but no that wasn't his smile, he was smirking....... at me. That son of a bachelor! How dare he!
Sudden nervousness hit me so I just mumbled "jerk " and got my books and left that place as soon as possible. I turned back to see if he was there and well that was the biggest mistake of my life cause as soon as I turned he caught me staring at him..... again.
I reached my classroom and was taken up in a hug, a whoosh of air left my mouth.
"Vi-ic ! I'm so sorry , I just am so sorry for doing that to you today."
She looked back at me with her puppy eyes that anyone who doesn't know her would melt for. I just rolled my eyes as I was still thinking about my small encounter with Aiden. Gosh! Taking his name gives me these disgusting goose bumps.
"Its Ok Diana,anyways I made it to school in time right? "
"Yeah, Ok what if we go to the new cafe that has opened in the end of the street? I got to know that it's pretty good." She said.
"Sure why not, we will go but before that I would just have to inform my mom."
"Yup." She said with her dazzling smile, God she is such a cupcake.
The teacher soon came in and my first class - Biology started. I just wish I don't get to see him again.
The rest of the day went just as I wanted it to - no Aiden, is what I meant. As we had planned, Diana and I went to that cafe - Amigos. *********************************** We entered the cafe and the fresh aroma of croissants filled my nose. Croissants for life. I shut my eyes to savour the smell of the food, my mood enlightened already.
As soon as I opened my eyes , I regretted doing that. In one of the corner seats of the cafe was Aiden's group , but fortunately he wasn't there with them so I continued my way in and took a seat across them. Diana just said her Hi's to them and sat down with me. She is just too good to have a brother like him. I mean just look at the difference.
We ordered our meal and were just talking about here and there when the door of the cafe opened and came in the devil himself, Aiden and after him came the next unwanted person in my life - Catherine Mellark.
Aiden looked irritated but the moment he saw me something in his calculating eyes glittered, mischief. He swung around and took Catherine in his arms and............... kissed her ?!?! What the hell !!
How can he do that to me ! Well , two can play the game. I quickly covered up my expression with a blank one, twirled my hair and continued speaking to the now jaw-dropped Diana. In any other situation i would have laughed till my stomach would hurt but for now I controlled it anyways. I was just too disgusted by him.
Soon everybody got settled but my eyes kept glancing at him every now and then and many times I caught him staring at me ,when Catherine was finding it difficult to get back his attention. That whore !
My meal was finished so I got up to put it on the counter, I lifted my eyes just in time to see Aiden coming towards me. I picked up my pace and left the tray at the counter. I twirled around hurriedly to go back to my place but my leg slipped and I shut my eyes preparing myself for the fall.
God why on earth does it have to be me always? Well I was waiting for for my butt to get get hurt but I didn't. Instead I felt two arms around my waist. I slowly opened my eyes only to see two familiar eyes staring at me.
